Illuminati Bavarian Fire Drill1 review
Steve Jackson

Steve Jackson Games, 2007

Great Update for a Fun Game
It delivers as advertised. The new groups are a blast, and the addition of artifacts add a great dynamic to the game. If you are an Illuminati fan this will keep it fresh. I wish there were some more Illuminati organizations but this is easily overlooked with all the other groups and artifacts.

Principia Discordia14 reviews
Steve Jackson

Steve Jackson Games, 1994

Notes on this edition, my favorite
The original Principia Discordia was very much mish mash of near random pages thrown together, and the pages themselves were changed and modified. I've always felt that it should be a continually evolving book, and with this edition including newly created pages, it hits closest to the spirit of discordianism (at least in my opinion). The other editions I've seen present it almost as a relic of ...

GURPS Basic Set: Campaigns (4th Edition)8 reviews
Steve Jackson

Steve Jackson Games, 2004

AWESOME...but you must be creative
GURPS is one of the most, truly, generic systems around... and that's no suprise since it's the first. In this fourth edition, SJ games brings to bear their 20+ years of experience with this system and delivers an excellent addition to the GURPS line. The system is fully able to be employed in any genre from fantasy, science-fiction or horror and it flexible enough for even the most creative of ...

GURPS Basic Set: Characters, Fourth Edition13 reviews
Steve Jackson

Steve Jackson Games, 2004

Excellent stuff...the best GURPS yet.
Obviously, the person who one-starred this was just being an a-hole. There's no way one could look at this system and not consider it the best version of GURPS that has ever been released, but consider it one of the best, most realistic, and complete systems available today. Professional layout, excellent art, comprehensive rules, and overall polished game. The book and the rules are tight, ...

Munchkin Cthulhu 2 Call of Cowthulhu (Munchkin)1 review

Steve Jackson Games, 2007

Illuminati Y2K1 review
Steve Jackson

Steve Jackson Games, 2007

An expansion to my favorite Game!
This is just an expansion set to the Deluxe Illuminati game. This adds 109 new cards to the existing edition. There are 76 new group cards, 26 special cards, 5 blank cards (so you can create your own cards) and two new Illuminati cards so you can play with more people! If you love the regular deluxe Illuminati then you will love the expansion. These cards are just as funny and sarcastic as ever!!

Managing Human Resources1 review
Susan E. Jackson, Randall S. Schuler, ...

South-Western College Pub, 2008

A Good HRM Material
I have read this book at graduate level as a class material in Human Resource Management. The most obvious priority of Schulers book is its case studies which are developed elaborately and absolutely topic-related. It was my assignment to translate case studies included in this book into Turkish and while I was reading cases, I realized that as I read, I better understood topics. Although cases ...

Rough Trade4 reviews
Steve Jackson

Pinnacle, 2001

GRIPPING
One of the investigators in this True Crime story notes that ". . . this case had a variety of characters that the most fertile mind in Hollywood would have a hard time imagining . . ." and author Steve Jackson manages to make me feel that I know them. Some I like, some I detest . . . and I do want to know how Joanne Cordova is doing with her life now. Joanne is a former Denver policewoman who ...

Managerial Accounting: A Focus on Ethical Decision Making1 review
Steve Jackson, Roby Sawyers, ...

South-Western College Pub, 2007

Meh...
This book is essentially an introductory managerial accounting book which purports to be an undergraduate text but is really at a high school level. As promised, it has an "easy-to-understand presentation" and uses a "hands-on learning approach". The book is clear in its presentation, it does a good job at providing plenty of easy-to-read tables, and it uses plenty of real-world applications as ...

The Crown of Kings (Sorcery)6 reviews
Steve Jackson

Penguin (Non-Classics), 1985

finest gamebook ever written
Quite simply, Steve Jackson's Sorcery! series is the finest the gamebook genre ever produced. With 800 entries, stylized artwork and exquisite writing, it put the entire Choose Your Own Adventure series to shame with its elequence and quality. I feel fortunate to have collected the set, and if you have interest in fantasy gaming, I encourage you to find these books also.

Partners In Evil: The Shocking True Story of a Fantasy Turned Deadly6 reviews
Steve Jackson

Pinnacle, 2003

Well Written and well Researched
The author not only grabs the reader's attention from the very first page, he places this horrific crime in historical context with other death penalty cases. Steve Jackson has done his homework! The reader gets to know Jacine and her family and whether one agrees with the death penalty or not, you cannot help but feel the pain of Jacine's parents. I will never forget her smiling face. This book ...

GURPS GM's Screen4 reviews
Steve Jackson, David Pulver, and Sean Punch David Morgan-Mar

Steve Jackson Games, 2004

Lots of Information, Silly Art
This is a perfect reference for a GM. Almost anything that a GM needs at his/her fingertips is on this screen. There are only two complaints I have. A) The artwork on the front of the thing is ridiculous and silly looking (almost Disneyish). B) The screen doesn't function extremely well as a screen. It has a little trouble staying standing up and is not quite large enough to hide all of ...

GURPS Basic Set (GURPS: Generic Universal Role Playing System)29 reviews
Steve Jackson

Steve Jackson Games, 1996

Best Game Ever
I have been playing RPG's for almost 10 years now, and it is no small thing to say that this is my personal favorite. I have played D&D, Rifts, Hero, Starwars, World of Darkness, BESM, Marvel Universe, and various others, but this is the one that is my personal choice. It is a generic game (could you tell from its title) which means that you are responsible for settings and campaign ideas. ...
