Excellent resource for selection and maintenance of pond plants
I have had a pond for 30+ years. This is one of the best and most detailed resouces that I have come across. It is one of the few that details the type of waterlily corms that each variety has. This is extremely helpful in identifying plants that have spread naturally and are not blooming. Great photographs. Uses both common names and scientific names.

disappointing - incomplete
I was surprised to see so many basic, well-known & easily found water garden plants omitted in this book. Missing are standard water garden plants like frogbit, Vallisneria and Sagittaria, ALL Salvinia spp, ALL Myriophyllum spp (including parrotfeather), and java moss. Only 2 Nymphoides spp are included.
