Couples and Money: A Couples' Guide Updated for the New Millennium2 reviews
Victoria F. Collins, Suzanne Blair Brown

Gabriel Publications (CA), 1998

This book fills the void....
Given the importance that money plays in the harmony of a marriage, it's hard to think of a more important topic in either the aisle of books on Investments or the aisle on Relationships. Yet the topic seems to "get lost between the cracks" of these two gendres. This book fills the void by examining couples' attitudes toward money, by providing insight into the nature of our discourses, ...

Gregor and the Curse of the Warmbloods44 reviews
Suzanne Collins

Thorndike Press, 2006

This series was devoured...
I bought this series for my 9 year old from a recommendation from a friend. I recognized author Suzanne Collins from her grown-up series Hunger Games. He didn't just read the books, he devoured them. My only complaint is that there are not more in the series! He read the book in 2 days - he did that for all the books in the series. The book kept him engaged and eager to keep his nose in the ...

The Underland Chronicles: Books 1-5 Paperback Box Set9 reviews
Suzanne Collins

Scholastic Inc., 2009

A great series to get reluctant readers to READ!
After reading the Percy Jackson Series (books 1 to 5)and the 39 Clues Series my 12 year old daughter wanted a new series to read. Although the Underland Chronicles have been published for a couple of years now , we just discovered them. Initially a reluctant reader, my daughter now enjoys reading very much. She has also read the the first two Hunger Game books by Suzanne Collins and can't wait ...

The Underland Chronicles Set, Books 1-4: Gregor the Overlander, Gregor and the Prophecy of Bane, Gregor and ...3 reviews
Suzanne Collins

Scholastic, 2008

a mom's review
As a mom of three young children as well as an aide in an elementary school library, I read a lot of children's literature. I wanted to read this series because I heard such good things about it. I was not disappointed. I tore through all five books very quickly. The story line is very imaginative and spellbinding. I encouraged my son to read them (age 9) and he adores them. A strong 11 ...

A Field Guide to Reptiles & Amphibians of Eastern & Central North America (Peterson Field Guide Series)22 reviews
Roger Conant, Joseph T. Collins

Gregor and the Prophecy of Bane (The Underland Chronicles, Book Two)2 reviews
Suzanne Collins

Scholastic Inc., 2004

Suzanne Collins Rocks
Anything by Suzanne Collins is a hit with my sixth grade readers. She has the ability to make fantastical events believable. The book lexile is around 650, so many of my less proficient students can read these. This is the first long chapter book for my reluctant readers. This is an adventure that begins with a hole behind a dryer in the basement. Clever situations with a wonderful array of ...

Suzanne Collins

Molino, 2009

This book turned someone into a reader! she could not put it down until she was finished. the story is intriguing, entertaining, fantastic. I highly recommend it, especially for those who don't consider themselves "readers" :)

En llamas / Catching Fire (Juegos del Hambre) (Spanish Edition)1 review
Suzanne Collins

Molino, 2010

Catching Fire (The Second Book of the Hunger Games) - [Audiobook][Unabridged] (Audio CD)1 review
-Suzanne Collins-, 2009

This will have you Catching Fire!
This is a well-performed audio reading of the second book in the Hunger Games series. This story is very exciting. I loaned the first book to a very discerning and literate friend for an airline flight and she gobbled half of it up on the plane ride and then finished it at her destination. She had to download this second book on her Kindle because she couldn't wait to get back home to borrow ...

Suzanne Collins

Thorndike Press, 2007

NONONONONO!
I loved this book and I was so upset at the end. Why can't there be any more? WHY? Too soon to leave the series. But anyways, the last page is soooo awesome! Everyone, READ THIS BOOK!

Gregor and the Marks of Secret46 reviews
Suzanne Collins

Thorndike Press, 2007

good for old folks too
i have read the first three of the books in this series and have the last two on my desk. although the target reader is a pre-teen,at age sixty i found them entertaining and exciting. my daughter is a reading/special ed. teacher and i have given them to her for her classes. They have a little bit of gore and violence but not as much as you would see on the average tv station.

Catching Fire (The Second Book of the Hunger Games)502 reviews
Suzanne Collins

Scholastic Press, 2009

A little slow in the beginning, but picks up quickly
I was almost unable to put the first book in this trilogy, Hunger Games, down and then immediately downloaded this 2nd book to my Kindle immediatly upon finishing book 1. I was sitting on the beach on vacation when I finished the first book and couldn't wait to start the 2nd book. I anxiously turned on my whispernet to connect for download and was reading this book within 5 minutes on my ...

Gregor Overlander163 reviews
Suzanne Collins

Scholastic, 2003

Outstanding book
Gregor the Overlander and the other Underland books have become the most popular books in our home. I am amazed at how well Suzanne Collins develops her characters. Even the minor characters seem real. Suzanne Collins has created a world that feels alive. I could believe that the Underland exists. I liked the kindness that Gregor shows his family and how he has shouldered responsibility. He ...

The Underland Chronicles Book Four: Gregor and the Marks of Secret1 review
Suzanne Collins

Listening Library (Audio), 2008

Great Book
A little darker in places than the earlier books, this book was very captivating and thrilling. The action and suspense keeps you wanting to find out what will happen next. The interactions between the characters gives you a lot of insight into their pasts and makes you thirst for what will happen in the next book. The book will leave you excited for the adventure to continue.

Gregor and the Prophecy of Bane (The Underland Chronicles, Book 2)41 reviews
Suzanne Collins

Scholastic Press, 2004

I love this series!
I loved the first book, and the second book did not disappoint. Collins does an excellent job bringing us up to speed with Gregor's life, and does not cheapen the first book by making everything 'perfect' for Gregor and his family after he completed the first quest that he had to. The reasons for him returning to the Underland are compelling, and I was swept up in the drama of the story right ...

JUEGOS DEL HAMBRE, LOS1 review
Suzanne Collins

Unknown, 2009
