More Austin than San Antonio
Excellent book, very descriptive but there are more Austin trails than SA trails. Some of the trails in this book have become our faves and we would never have found them without the book.

A wonderful read
Anyone who lives here in the shadows of Superstition Mountain knows of the historic Apache Trail. We have all driven the hair pin turns of Fish Creek Hill and seen the magnificent Roosevelt Dam come into view around that next bend with a catch in our chest. Kollenborns book is a wonderful trip back in time to show us the beginnings of the trail as well as points of interest along the route. ...
Our American Cousin (the play Lincoln was watching when he was assassinated)

B&R Samizdat Express, 2008
historical value
Mostly I wanted to read this for it's historical value: It's the play that Abraham Lincoln was watching when he was shot. Besides that obvious historical value, of itself it's an interesting "period piece": The play is a comedy centering around stereotypes of Americans and Englishmen: The English characters all have an exagerrated sense of propriety and social roles, the American is a caricature ...

Smart Humor - Intelligiggles
It's rare that you find an author that creates a whole new genre of humor. Are the puns? Are the riddles? What the heck are they? They are just plain funny! Highly recommend having this somewhere where friends can pick up the book while you cook them a spaghetti dinner. It will make for excellent "mealtainment".

A book of helpful explanations on remodeling!!!
I have recently read the book The Basement Book: Reclaiming the Wasted Space in your Basementby Thomas Carpenter, Jeff Taylor, Roberta Cooke, Brad Sneed, and Tom Carpenter.
