The War of Souls Trilogy Gift Set: Dragons of a Fallen Sun, Dragons of a Lost Star, Dragons of a Vanished ...28 reviews
Margaret Weis, Tracy Hickman

Wizards of the Coast, 2003

War of the souls trilogy
I enjoyed the books & read them in a matter of days. Some of my favorite players in these books were offed or otherwise already passed on. I will need to see if some of the other books tell those tales. My only bad thing I can say is the editors failed to catch many mistakes and sentence mix ups in all three books.

Dragons of the Highlord Skies (Dragon Lance: The Lost Chronicles, Vol. 2)25 reviews
Margaret Weis, Tracy Hickman

Wizards of the Coast, 2008

Dragons of the Highlord skies
Excellent read. I myself was always dissapointed that there wasn't more detail regarding Kitiara's and Sturm's adventures to Icereach. This cleared everything up perfectly. Weis and Hickman are true literary geniuses!

Dragonlance Chronicles Trilogy Gift Set256 reviews
Margaret Weis, Tracy Hickman

Wizards of the Coast, 2001

Was great when i was a teenage, now a bit lame
The trilogy starts ok, a band of friends meet together after a long time and plundered into a long and hard fought adventure. The story is good, the characters at most are very lame, i will go from the worst: 1. Laurana - The most beatiful, wise, brave, good-hearted , lame and boring character. Turned from a spoiled baby princess to a hard fought warrior that beats multiple life expierienced ...

Legends Gift Set: Time of the Twins, War of the Twins, and Test of the Twins (Dragonlance: Legends Trilogy)24 reviews
Margaret Weis, Tracy Hickman

Wizards of the Coast, 2002

The classic legends trilogy
What can you say about this, the classic fantasy trilogy? In one word: brilliant. It has all the elements one would want: friendship, adventure, love, magic, excitiment, a laugh and a tear. But what strikes me most about this series (especially if you read the chronicles and everything afterwards) is the fact that right and wrong are not so black and white as they so often are portraited. The ...

Dragons of the Dwarven Depths (Dragonlance: The Lost Chronicles, Vol. 1)36 reviews
Margaret Weis, Tracy Hickman

Wizards of the Coast, 2006

Dragonlance standard!
This book lives up to the Dragonlance standard in my opinion. It portrays the events that took place between the first two book of the chronicles trilogy (after the escape for Pax Tharkas). Definetly worth reading if you crave to know what convinced the dwarfs of Thorbadin to shelter 800 human refugees, or if you crave to know how a hammer that has been lost for over 300 years finally ...

The Second Generation43 reviews

Wizards of the Coast, 2002

after test of the twins, comes the second generation
I was told by a friend that this book was not as good as chronicles or legends. So I didn't buy it or read it. I've found that to have been a mistake, since the book it very good. It binds together events happening in the test of the twins and the dragons of summer flame. It may not involve the old heroes of the lance as much as previous books but brings fort new heroes, and foes. I'd ...

The Seventh Gate: A Death Gate Novel, Volume 7 (Death Gate Cycle)61 reviews
Margaret Weis, Tracy Hickman

Spectra, 1995

Hung on every word about Haplo and Marit
I have to agree with other reviewers that the comparative lack of depth in the concluding novel was a little disappointing. But I absolutely HAD to find out what happened to Haplo and Marit's relationship. I think this would be a great movie in the hands of a capable director. Maybe cast Thomas Kretschmann as Haplo he appeared in 2005 King Kong . I noticed a lot of personality resemblance ...

Dragons Of The Dwarven Depths: The Lost Chronicles, Volume One (Dragonlance)8 reviews
Margaret Weis, Tracy Hickman

Wizards of the Coast, 2007

A great read, better than some give it credit for.
I judge this book not on typographical errors, nor the filler parts of the plot. But on its merit as a revisit to the world that turned me into a reader. The world which lit my imagination and the character therein. Krynn, and The Companions. The book had plenty of character growth from the Autumn Twilight. Those who are reviewing it as having not are thinking with their metaplot knowledge in ...

The Soulforge (Dragonlance: The Raistlin Chronicles, Book 1)215 reviews
Margaret Weis

Wizards of the Coast, 1999

The Test is in this one! Have a seat.
Wow! Raistlin fan or not this is a great book. I, of course like most of the people who read Dragonlance, like Raistlin but I am not a huge fan per say but I do find him interesting to read. A lot of my question were resolved here not all but many. Perhaps the best part about this book is that you get to witness the Test that Raistlin endured! You've heard about out it for a long time now and ...

Into the Labyrinth (Death Gate Cycle)30 reviews
Margaret Weis, Tracy Hickman

Spectra, 1994

Death Gate Cycle
This is the 6th book in the Death Gate Cycle series. If you haven't read the previous ones, this book does do a good job of catching you up. However, for full understanding you should read them in order. The authors do a great job on character development and plot. I could not put this series down.

Fire Sea: The Death Gate Cycle, Volume 3 (Death Gate Cycle)48 reviews
Margaret Weis, Tracy Hickman

Spectra, 1992

One of the best!
Fire Sea is book #3 of a seven book series. While the previous two volumes are quite good in themselves, this is the one that takes this series to a whole new level. I truly believe that Weis & Hickman did their best bit of writing as a team on this one book. The enviroment is so alive (in a dark sort of way). "Gripping" is the word I would use to describe Fire Sea. I don't want to give away ...

The Hand of Chaos (Death Gate Cycle, Book 5)21 reviews
Margaret Weis, Tracy Hickman

Bantam Spectra, 1993

The Hand of Chaos - clever title now that I think about it....
The Hand of Chaos - Book Five of Seven in the Death Gate Cycle series. This book is another excellent addition to the series, and also necessary to read, no matter what other people say. It is very action packed, and brings back some of my favorite characters (Ex: Bane, Hugh the Hand (shocker...I know!)and Iridal). The book does have its shortcomings, but otherwise it is very good. This ...

To the One God
To the One God, its in you we thank for giving us Margaret and Tracy or should we look for another? Once again we explore another fine addition to the Dragonlance volumes. Dragon Wing (The Death Gate Cycle, Book 1)126 reviews
Margaret Weis, Tracy Hickman

Spectra, 1990

It Gave Me My User Name
I love this book. The entire series climbs into the top ten of my ultimate favorite books. (Which is really hard to do by the way. I read a ton!) I read this in the eighth grade (I was always a really good reader) and I love it to peices still. Whenever I want something to re-read, this is the one I delve for. I love it! I love it! I love it! What more is there to say?
