This, and the six Dune books by Frank Herbert are the true books of the Dune universe. Period. Ignore the tripe by Brian Herbert and Kevin Anderson. Disregard their works as fanfiction, and badly written at that. If you want to know more about Dune, this is the book for you.

I just love this book. The entries are fascinating and far better than the tripe that Brian Herbert and Kevin Anderson wrote to "add" to the Dune universe. As far as I am concerned, this and the 6 Dune books by Frank are the only Dune canon.
