Last chapters are a lifesaver!
The first few chapters are on specific topics, although the first couple introduce the background very well. My favourite part is the last section: essay & presentation help. The criteria are explained so well! I love it.

Please buy this book if you expect to make a 7 on your IB Exam. This book is extremely thorough and addresses each issue of the IB syllabus in a detailed understandable way. I only wish I used it sooner. I had an okay Economics teacher and suited with one of most incomprehensible textbooks I've ever had to deal with. However, when I picked up this book, I was so surprised at how easy ...

Outstanding explanation of modernity's erosion of Christianity
I was introduced to the life and ministry of J. Gresham Machen by the book by David Hart titled Defending the Faith: J. Gresham Machen and the Crisis of Conservative Protestantism in Modern America, which is an outstanding read, and then again in John Piper's wonderful Book Four of his Swans Are Not Silent series titled Contending for Our All: Defending Truth and Treasuring Christ in the Lives of ...

Extremely helpful
This course companion has proved immensly helpful in my studies. For every topic I personally have encountered, it fully explain all statements from the syllabus - though my experience seems to differ greatly from that of the other reviewer. Additionally, the book provides the slight amount of depth needed to understant the topics as opposed to simply memorize terms. Perhaps the most ...

The IB physics bible
This book is probably the best resources you can get for IB physics. It is tailored to the IB syllabus and contains nothing more than what you need for the exam. This book is especially useful if your teacher does not teach, or somehow decides not to teach according to the syllabus. Also, it is a must for people who want to do well but are not willing to read through 500 pages of their textbook ...

good resource
this book is really good as it follows the IB chemistry syllabus and covers eveything! it helps understand many things and grasp complicated concepts, but i think class notes and understanding in class is essential, as well as basic chemistry knowledge (obviouly), though the book tries to explain everything, even the simple things. I found stoichiometry and calculations really confusing in the ...
