Barnyard Bath
Sandra Boynton

Workman Publishing Company, 2008

Here comes BarnYard Bath ! It?s a waterproof cousin of Barnyard Dance ?the famous board book bestseller. And what could make tub time more fun than a book? Especially one that floats. Because let's face it, board books are highly impractical in the tub. Safety-tested, nontoxic, and so much fun?just like Bath Time !, Boynton's first bath book.

Giles Andreae

Tiger Tales, 2004

Beautifully illustrated!!
This book's simple rhythm and beautiful illustrations of barnyard characters make this one of my son's favorites(age 23 months). The brightly colored pictures of animals with large text make this book eye-catching and appealing to the very young.

Stomp your feet!!!
What a treat to buy this for a friend's baby. My youngest child LOVED this book because as others have pointed out, it is fantastic! Just reading the words results in a great rhyme and makes you dance. You can't help it. Babies love it, toddlers love it, and parents love to read it, even the 4,999th time. It makes everyone smile. We wore the cover off and had to buy multiple copies. What a great ...

Love it!
My 5 month old son adores this book! I was afraid it would be a bit too long for him to tolerate, but as long as I keep moving the hand puppet he is just enthralled! I can't recommend it enough!

Henry Holt and Co. (BYR), 1997

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this book!!
This is one of my toddlers favorite books. She loves the rhyming and the colors on the book and will ask us to read it over and over to her. Simply one of the best books to teach barnyard animals and their sounds to your children. I can't say enough praise about this book and how much my daughter loves it!!

Barnyard Games & Puzzles: 100 Mazes, Word Games, Picture Puzzles, Jokes and Riddles, Brainteasers, and Fun ...1 review
Helene Hovanec, Patrick Merrell

Storey Publishing, LLC, 2006

Great fun
My 6 yr old got this for his birthday and really enjoys the puzzles. He's an advanced reader for his age, and has had no problems with the level 1 and 2 puzzles. He sometimes needs help figuring out what to do with the stage 3 puzzles, but then he does them well. We plan on getting more books from this series as he finishes them.

Barnyard Lullaby4 reviews
Frank Asch

Simon & Schuster Children's Publishing, 1998

The perfect lullaby
My 2 1/2 year old loves this book and song. The music is printed at the end - and it puts her right to sleep nearly every time. She sings the song whenever she is putting her animals to bed, and it is a lovely story! The illustrations are great for this age - I wholly recommend it!

Old Macdonald Had a Farm
My 4 year old loves this book! The illustrations are bold, colorful and fun and each animal has a fuzzy texture. It's heavy duty cardboard makes it durable and able to withstand 3 young children using it. We love to sing the song and act out the animal sounds. I would highly recommend this book

Lord of the Barnyard: Killing the Fatted Calf and Arming the Aware in the Cornbelt55 reviews
Tristan Egolf

Grove Press, 2000

Rest in peace, literary warrior!
Tristan Egolf, a very French pen name, maybe, is dead. Suicide at age 33. But: There might be a bit of PR hype going on here. The French website says that Patrick Modiano's daughter by complete chance saw Egolf busking in the streets of Paris on a cold and rainy day and she later invited him to have coffee with her. One thing led to another, presumbably, and he showed her the ...

In answer to such questions, Mr. Lukas, the New York Times reporter for the trial, gives a firsthand account of that extraordinary event. It was certain from the outset that the trial would be ...
