What a plunge!
I'm an Uncle John Bathroom Reader addict. I've not been 100% satisfied the last couple of times - too much copy-and-past from earlier editions. But this one, "Golden plunger awards", has once again turned going to the toilet into a joyride. Good stories. Well organized. And easy to find subjects you want to read about.

Must read
I think every child, parent, and teacher should read this book - it is wonderful and inspiring - helping us to see the good in everyone. I read this to my kids when they were in elementary school, and I think it helped shape their concern for others - gave them the desire to look out for the underdog. Sometimes we have no idea the struggles that others are faced with - and it helps us all to ...

This book ROCKS. I wish that all of my teachers would read it. High school kids are sick of being treated like second class citizens or caged animals and finally here we get some respect. Thank you Kathleen Cushman for listening to intelligent teenagers and getting their words into print.

Strange title, but a fun book.
This was a gift from a media friend of ours. She knows I stay in the car and read when my wife shops. So this is more a car book than a bathroom book. It is fun and there are so many sections in so many categories and covers most of the great stars. The only complaint I would make is that there are some great ones only given a sentence or not mentioned at all. A sequel to this book is ...

Best of the Pottery Barn books
I have read/used three of the Pottery Barn books listed in order of my opinion of them: Baths, Living Rooms, and Bedrooms. Baths was very good, with beautiful photographs, interesting and innovative ideas, and some useful design advice. Most of the book provided a several page showcase for an individual bath with discussion of what made it special. Living rooms was OK. It's content was more ...

A fun book for cat lovers
I've enjoyed the other Uncle John's Bathroom Readers and this one made a wonderful gift for my cat-loving mother! I've enjoyed browsing through it in her, um, facilities, and I find the stories fascinating. Great literature it isn't, but it is perfect for those who love cats and only have a few minutes at a time to read!
