An awesome fight
The Scott Pilgrim series of books is the type that you will find yourself reading over and over for years to come, lending out individual volumes to friends all the while. This book, the second in the series, is where the author really finds his voice and lets the characters grow. We get some back story on the past relationship of Scott Pilgrim and Kim Pine as well as an early glimpse of many ...

The Graveyard Book
To all who have never heard of Neil Gaiman, this book may look a little boring. In truth though this book is a fantastically written book for all readers. The Graveyard Book is really a deep story about a kid who wants to be normal. Bod was just a little boy when his parents were murdered. In those times, Bod found sancturary in a graveyard filled with busy ghosts. As Bod grew he became more ...

Diary of a wimpy kid dog days
I really liked Dog Days. I thought it was really funny. I can't wait for the next Diary Of A Wimpy kid. The book is filled with comedy and detail. The characters are amazing. The story is spectacular because of the dialouge. There are entartaning scenes in the book that is why the book shines.
Scott Pilgrim Volume 6: Scott Pilgrim's Finest Hour

Oni Press
, 2010
It's finally here! Six years and almost 1000 pages have all led to this epic finale! With six of Ramona's seven evil exes dispatched, it should be time for Scott Pilgrim to face Gideon Graves, the biggest and baddest of her former beaus. But didn't Ramona take off at the end of Book 5? Shouldn't that let Scott off the hook? Maybe it should, maybe it shouldn't, but one thing is for certain all of this has been building to Scott Pilgrim's Finest ...

The Artwork Really Brings This Classic to Life!
Almost everyone knows the classic tale of Alice in Wonderland. They've either read the book or seen the movies but none of the former publications quite bring Lewis Carroll's story to life like Camille Rose Garcia. The artwork in this story is fantastic! Every page pops and pertains to the scene being described in a nearly perfect fashion. After finishing this version I could not help wondering ...

Loved every single page of this book.
Very satisfied with Scott Pilgrim's Precious Little Life. It introduced me to the SP universe. I've read all the books since buying this one. Can't wait forthe sixth and final book! Loads of video game references and funny moments. It's an awesome read. Looking forward to the movie.

Rolling on the Floor Laughing
I don't even have to get into this much. This is the funniest comic I've read, and best in the Scott Pilgrim series. Now keep in mind that there are not too many humorous comics out there, but I doubt anyone can top "Scott Pilgrim and the Infinite Sadness." It's just as if Bryan Lee O'Malley snorted a giant line of clever and went hulk on the entire volume. I laughed at every page. Even my ...

Curse you, Adam Hughes!
Adam Hughes is a better artist than you. Adam Hughes is a better artist than me. Adam Hughes is depressingly, embarrassingly good, and he's making everyone else look bad. Adam Hughes must be stopped. So don't any of you buy this book! If you buy this book, Adam Hughes might know how good he is. He might keep drawing, and he might even, (through some dastardly witchcraft,) become EVEN ...

Beyond expectations
The book is excellent! The quality is top-notch. The pages are nice and thick, the printing brings the amazing drawings to life, and the coffee table size of it is perfect for the content, which is incredible. I've never seen a single source that gives more in-depth, behind the scenes information on the series than this book. And it's narrated by the creators themselves! If you're a fan of the ...

A powerful and gripping graphic novel
I was amazed by the power of this graphic novel. I finished it within one afternoon; I was completely hooked after the first page. The style of the illustrations and the storyline surrounding major historical events happening to one family unit reminded me a lot of Art Spiegelman's "Maus I" and "Maus II" (also excellent and powerful reads). But this novel has its own message and voice, that are ...

just fabulous
_Odd and the Frost Giants_ is a delightful, light fantasy. It has a nice balance of cheery optimism and adventure...which makes it engaging but not scary for young readers. The quirky and perky main character is charming. The writing is full of warmth and humor. The illustrations are fun and appealing, as well.

I was surprised that I actually liked this book better than the first one
In the previous story of Artemis Fowl, we have a boy with a sick mother and a lost (presumed dead) father. The family happens to have a history of thievery, and Artemis takes advantage of his position in the most peculiar way: by going after Irish myths, which just so happen to contain a certain amount of truth. One of which is the existence of elves and "LEPrecon" gold. Things didn't go the way ...

Wonderfully imagnitive
I first read this book a few years ago. I asked a friend, a manager of a bookstore what her favourite books or authors were to expand upon my reading list. She recommended Stardust and Neverwhere, both by Neil Gaiman. Both became quick favourites though very different and both left a lasting impression on me. Stardust is the story of Tristan Thorne, who is unaware of his true heritage at the ...
