Blueprint Reading for Welders (Delmar Learning Blueprint Reading)5 reviews
A.E. Bennett, Louis J Siy

Delmar Cengage Learning, 2004

Gets right to the point
VERY GOOD BOOK, it will answer ALL your questions about welding blueprints. I am an engineer who wanted to learn how to make welding drawings. I have some background in welding, but none is needed for this book. I believe welders would like the book too, (like the title states) as the first sections of the book goes over engineering drawings and explains them simply and thoroughly. Lets hope the ...

Star Wars Blueprints: The Ultimate Collection3 reviews
DK Publishing

DK CHILDREN, 2008

A fantastic collection of blueprints and images
Growing up with the Star Wars films in the late 70's I was always drawn to the technology behind the films. One of my favorite Star Wars items was a collection of blueprints and technical designs I bought in 1981 so I was extremely happy when this book was announced. While the cross sections books are excellent additions to my library for me nothing is better than spreading out a big drawing ...

A Solid Book for Intermediate/Advanced ESL students
This solid book provides ESL students and community college members with a strong foundation in academic writing. Nature's Blueprint: Supersymmetry and the Search for a Unified Theory of Matter and Force
Dan Hooper

Collins, 2008

The first accessible book on a theory of physics that explains the relationship between the particles and forces that make up our universe. For decades, physicists have been fascinated with the possibility that two seemingly independent aspects of our world—matter and force—may in fact be intimately connected and inseparable facets of nature. This idea, known as supersymmetry, is considered by many physicists to be one of the ...

Blueprints for High Availability21 reviews
Evan Marcus, Hal Stern

Wiley, 2003

Even better than the first edition!
I bought the first edition of this book, and it became so dog-eared from everyone borrowing it that I was about to order another, when I saw there was a secodn edition. This one is even better that the first. If you need action items and you need set-up help for providing the kind of network your boss wants and needs, this is the book for you.

Innovation to the Core: A Blueprint for Transforming the Way Your Company Innovates2 reviews
Peter Skarzynski, Rowan Gibson

Harvard Business School Press, 2008

If your firm's strategy can be applied to any other firm, you don't have a very good one.
This is an outstanding book, it distills ideas from other books into a step by step format! If you've read Gary Hamel's work, this books takes most of his insights and puts them in a how to format. Very insightful! It's great for startups also as it lays the foundations of the seeds to place. Buy it, read it, carry it with you and share it. No more excuses for not making innovation a daily ...

Blueprints Neurology (Blueprints Series)1 review
Frank W Drislane, Michael Benatar, ...

Lippincott Williams & Wilkins, 2009

It's Too Broad.
It feels like an introductory book. It gives the basics, but when you're in the ward, you often ask yourself, "OK, now what do I do?" But this book focuses on background information more that treatments. There is no chapter on strokes, per se. It is spread out into various chapters. At this stage of my education, I would prefer a chapter dedicated to stroke.

Blueprint for Action: A Future Worth Creating23 reviews
Thomas P.M. Barnett

Putnam Adult, 2005

A top pick not only for college-level political science holdings, but for the general-interest readers concerned
If the author's name sounds familiar, or part of the title of Blueprint for Action, it's because THE PENTAGON'S NEW MAP was a NewYork Times bestseller with its cutting analysis of war, peace, and international relations. Blueprint for Action: A Future Worth Creating continues where the prior book left off, comes from a senior advisor and military analyst, and discusses possible short- and ...

Blueprints Surgery: Principles and Methods (Blueprints Series)8 reviews
Seth J Karp, James PG Morris, ...

Lippincott Williams & Wilkins, 2006

don't believe the anti hype
the shelf exam emphasized all the main topics that were indeed covered in blueprints surgery. The shelf exam emphasizes application of concepts, there is no single text or question source out there that is so comprehensive that you will be able to take the shelf and generate the answer on the basis of straight memory recall. You need to be able to answer the questions de novo and apply what ...

Blueprints in Neurology2 reviews
Frank Drislane, Juan A. Acosta, ...

Blackwell Publishers, 2002

Good book..
This is a good book that will help you do well on the Neuro Shelf/Mini-Board exam for 3rd or 4th year rotations. It is also helpful for Step II, with strong sections on stroke, epilepsy, autoimmune disorders, and headache. It's not something to be read in one day, but it can be done by the time the rotation ends. With this info in hand, you should do well.
