Nutrition for athletes
...recommended to me by a trainer with a Master's degree in fitness. This book will tell you what to eat when you want to lose fat, gain muscle, or increase energy. Using the book's nutritional advice gave me more energy during my workouts with a MUCH faster recovery and faster healing. I have even been able to stretch the time between active rest weeks. The author specifically addresses the ...

A truely life-changing book
About a year ago I was preparing for a two week, trip to Hong Kong, which meant over 20 hours spent on a plane, among other free time. I was unhappy with where I was in my workouts, and since I was all of 5'10" and 140lbs, it seemed like a perfect fit for the kind of book I needed. Let me backtrack: Up until this book, I had worked out regularly for 7 years using various books and even two ...

A Must For The Serious Bodybuilder
I was looking for a book covering the latest developments in the fields of supplementation and ergogenics aids for hardcore athletes , a category wich lacks quality books and i choosed Anabolic Primer since it has up to date infos . I was very pleased to see all the areas of supplementation covered . The Chapter on Steroids is a very interesting one since the author was neutral on this subject , ...

A very helpful book for bodybuilders
This book contains many tasty foods for the bodybuilder. It also introduces the reader to the use of Vege Fuel in many of the dishes. I have enjoyed the entire work very much and would recomend it to anyone. The people that gave this book one star must have a personal problem with the author, because I found this book to be very good.

Review-Bodyuilder's Nutrition Book
This is a good book. Franco goes into detail about supplements and what each of them do and how they are of advantage to a bodybuilder. This is old school, but there's still plenty of good info here.

The Education of the greatest Bodybuilder
I would highly recommend this book for anybody who has aspirations of getting into bodybuilding, getting into fantastic shape or learning about the mind of the man, when he was a bodybuilder. The amazing thing about this book is that every time I reread it, I seemed to pick up something new that I didn't recall before. That's to say, there are lots of lessons packed - how to overcome obstacles, ...

GREAT INFO
I have been weighlifting for awhile and believe that proper training and nutrition go hand and hand. I am a nutrition major and agree with the information he has regarding the protein/carb/ fat ratio to make quality gains. The only thing I dont like in the book is that he pushes his supplements but then again we cant knock him he does own the supplement company and has to make his money. Overall ...
