Handle with Care
This is my first Jodi Picoult book. I just finished reading it and I am in awe, and overwhelmed at the same time. IT kept me on my toes, it was intense and funny and a whole gamet of emotions went through my mind as I read this book. I loved it. Not sure I liked Willows demise, but it was fitting and very poignant.

Great satisfaction with product and service
This book contains many recipes that will be helpful for busy homemakers, mothers, and those working outside the home. Most of the ingredients called for are those already in the pantry. I was very pleased with the prompt delivery and the pristine condition of the book. I highly recommend the book and the vendor to others.

Not rocket science but it works!
Although the tecniques in this book are not some hidden mystery, the ideas work and they are good tools to have when baby is fussy. I can pretty much always quiet my baby by holding him in the crook of my arm, on his side, with a pacifier and shaking my elbow to give him what my husband and I have termed "the bobble head". The author is a little full of himself, but it is worth the read if only ...

Not "alarmist" or "fear-mongering."
Luckily I purchased this book before reading the Amazon.com reviews. The reviewers that gave this book a poor rating, claiming it is "alarmist" and "fear-mongering," are using exactly the kind of hyperbolic language they accuse the authors of using. I am normally overly self-aware and concerned about every little pain or abnormal feeling I have; if anything, the book's month-to-month description ...

ME Wall Calendar
The pictures in this wall calendar are colorful and whimsical. There is enough room in the daily blocks to pencil in a few activities. The paper quality doesn't seem as thick as in previous ME wall calendars, but it is okay. Shipping was quick. The packing left a little corner smushed, but otherwise was okay.

Extremely comprehensive
This is the second book that I have read by Cesar and it has more than passed my expectations! The book is so comprehensive and it really details everything you need to know about adopting and raising your puppy. It also looks at different training methods, and breed specific suggestions for play and mentally challenging your dog. The unique part about this book is that Cesar actually raises four ...

Bring on the Puffs!!
Nubs is a remarkable story of the courage of a war dog and his new friend and guardian Major Dennis! I read their story first in a magazine while waiting at the pharmacy then immediately went to the bookstore and purchased the book. The only ones in my household to read the story to are my dog and my cat. I was in tears! It's a remarkable and beautiful story of a bond between a man and a dog ...

Just what young girls need!
I got this book for my 4th grader for Hannukah. While I know that reading is not her favorite thing to do, I was hoping she would pick up this book in a time of need. Sure enough, a few months later when some drama unfolded with her friends at school, she picked up the book! She actually followed the advice the book gave her and everything worked out perfectly. Now she reads the book over & ...

Great book for an introduction to puberty!
I bought this book for my daughter who is on the young side of the recommended age group (8) because I wanted her to have a book where she felt comfortable with the characters to really dig in learn more about her body and how to take care of herself. Well this book was on point with everything and made those "dreaded" discussions much easier to have. It is written very well and easy for her to ...

the best book for new parents
I recieved this book as a gift when I was pregnant and I just got a copy for 2 friends who are pregnant. It is a great resource for developmental stages. It is also a great "how to" care for a new baby book. I really liked the attachement parenting style, but even if you don't care for that, the book is still an invaluable resource for all the other great info it provides.

Very Helpful
The book is very helpful regarding new things happening with your baby, and what to expect to come soon. It advises on illnesses, so you know when to ring the doctor and when not to. I found it to be very helpful.

Librarian Rescues Discarded Kitten
Dewey: There's a Cat in the Library is based on a true story, and will delight all readers - children, parents, teachers, librarians, and cat lovers. An unwanted and very bedraggled kitten is "posted" through the Returns Slot in the library, where a kind and sympathetic librarian finds him the next day. The story of how Dewey Readmore Books grows up in the library is heartwarming and very ...

Reawaken the Passion for Healing
This book doesn't really need another review -- clearly it was well loved and respected long before I discovered it. More to the point is that I needed to acknowledge how deeply moving and inspiring it was, making me forget I was home sick!!! It allowed my own passion for healing to be more deeply awakened and expressed in my little corner of the world, with a dream to one day share it ... ...

My husband has read this way before he met me and I have no doubt that this helped him become a better husband. I am reading this now -- we are expecting our first child -- but this book is also giving me insights on my marriage as well. Highly recommended.

Excellent resource manual for me and baby.
I purchased this book along with a more light hearted countdown book. This provides great information on what is going on with me and with our baby. My husband reads the other book and I provide him the main points from this one. Also provides information on other symptoms you experience and how to deal with them, which is a nice addition. I have also used the Mayo web site, which is the same as ...

Excellent!
I have an extremely strong-willed five-year old. This book works! I have not raised my voice at my child in a couple of weeks since reading this book! Consistency is key! My child's teacher is using this book at school and we are using it at home as well. I have noticed a wonderful change. My relationship with my child has improved greatly also. I am so thankful for this book! It is simple and ...

Should be required reading
This book should be required reading for all politicians who are perpetuating the last place standing of the United States. It is clear, objective, and well written. It will make most readers angry because it makes apparent that the current debate is not about health care, but is about protecting and increasing profits for the insurance and investment banking industries. I am convinced that ...

Health Education Teacher loves this book
As a middle school Health Education Teacher, I find this book to be very helpful. Each week I review a topic,i.e. cereals, with my students and they are always surprised with the "Not That" choices. Labeling can be deceiving, such as "healthy" or "all natural". This book is a great resourse for those of us who teach nutrition to children.
