The Lamb's Supper: The Mass as Heaven on Earth

Enlightening take on The Book of Revelation and also on the Eucharist
This book was suggested as extra reading along with a Bible study at a church. The study was entitled "The Bible and The Mass". Everyone that had gotten hold of a copy of "The Lamb's Supper" thought it was great. My husband didn't go to the study but read the book after I said how wonderful it was. It was the first time I had gotten an explanation of the Book of Revelation that seemed to make ...

We purchased this to prepare our grand-daughter for her first b-day. She loves the sparkly cover, the lift-the-flaps, and especially the ending. I wish the last picture had matched the cover and been more attractive...

A must read for all Christian couples
Wow! This book is outstanding. It provide readers with the best of secular knowledge, evaluated through the lens of Scripture. It dominates all of the other available Christian titles. Everyday topics such as concrete suggestions for improving communication are covered, as are more major concerns such as various sexual dysfunctions. The book is notable in that it provides a seamless ...

Celebrating the basics of the Christian walk
There are plenty of reviews about Richard Foster's book, The Celebration of Discipline. I thought I would just add my ten cents worth as I have taught a course using his book as our text for the last 15 years. I am always amazed by the response of the students. Most have grown up in the church or been involved in para church groups, but they say they have never considered the seriousness of ...

Really Great Book :)
We just got this book for our 3 year olds birthday. My husband read it to him as soon as he got up so it would start off his birthday (since he wouldn't get his present until after my husband got home from work). BIG hit! He loved it and still loves it :)It is a longer Dr Seuss book, be warned! It isn't as quick a read as say, cat in the hat.

Great book for young girls
I was shopping for gifts for my nieces, when I came across this book. I remember reading it when I was 9 or 10 years old. I enjoyed it then, and am sure my 11-year-old niece will now, so it went in my cart. It should be noted for those concerned either way: THIS BOOK IS NOT ABOUT WITCHES OR MAGIC IN ANY REAL WAY. That noted, it is a great book for the audience for which it was written, and an ...

A Must Read!
This is one of the ones to have. Some of it I know, but the way the books was done made it interesting and engaging to read. I seriously learned something when I saw how the author applied composition in different ways. This is an outstanding book, and I highly suggest buying it.

You can't take the sky from me...
"T'was a time no one knew 'bout this little corner of the 'verse. Then appeared a man by the name of Joss Whedon to spin it's tales..." Those are the opening two sentences from my review of Firefly - The Complete Series, on iTunes. I wrote that review four years ago and hope that it's spawned a whole new legion of Browncoats. Just as I hope this review, keeps some of those very same ...

Still a favorite after all these years!
We've had this book since our daughter was a baby. She is almost 5 now and still LOVES this book, as does our 3-yr-old son. They laugh all the while getting kisses from head to toe (especially the belly button!). Of all the books we've owned over the years, this is one of the few that I know they enjoy every time we read it.
Digital Wedding Photography: Capturing Beautiful Memories

The best reference for wedding photographers.
I have read many, many books on wedding photography, and this is by far the best and most comprehensive book on wedding photography ever written. It takes into account that you already know how to operate your camera, and are a skilled photographer already, it then takes that skill and shows you how to apply it to this specific profession. It looks at all styles, and methods. If you are ...

Must read for all horror fans
First let me say that I wanted to review the unabridged version and couldnt find it on Amazon. Bram Stoker's books was writtten in the late 1800's so some of the text my require a look into the dictionary. It is by no means unreadable. I think even a young teen would have no problem with it. I had to look a few words up but so what I expanded my vocabulary a bit. If your not sure just go to a ...
