Confessions of a Gator Cheerleader: A Novel2 reviews
Bess Harbin Auer

iUniverse, Inc., 2005

Now this is what Cheerleading is all about
This book is great. A fun page- turner that really shows what cheerleading is all about. It demonstrates the ups, the downs, the wins and the losses perfectly. Auer shows everything cheerleaders have to go through, from the fun stuff to the hardships. I would definitley recommend this book to any cheerleader, or anyone who is looking for a fun read about the inside life of college cheerleading.

NAKED Cheerleader And Other Stories (NAKED Anthology #1) (New Erotic Fiction)3 reviews

Romantic Words Publishing, LLC, 2009

Couldn't Put It Down!
Kendall Swan never fails to deliver. Just like all of her other books and short stories, the NAKED Cheerleader collection was fast paced, never slow and hard to put down until I had finished the whole book. I can't wait for more!

Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Swimsuit 2008 Wall Calendar2 reviews

Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, 2007

Great buy!
This was gonna be just a "stocking stuffer" for my boyfriend but when it arrived I saw that it will be one of his better Christmas gifts. He will be very surprised that I got him this "hot" cheerleader calendar. I was very impressed when I saw that the calendar is over-sized with good quality photos and a big ring binder and sturdy plastic ring to hang it with. The front cover has a great ...

Cheerleaders from Gomorrah: Tales from the Lycra Archipelago3 reviews
John Rember

Confluence Press, 1993

A classic of environmental criticism and wonderful fiction
The book is essentially a masculine grieving. It opens with a short story of two women dedicated to the sport of recreational flirting in a town that was once a forgotten outpost of a remote, mountainous never-never land. Rember remembers Idaho's Salmon River area as the frontier left it and is contrasting that lamented, unspoiled never-never land with what it has become, a degenerate and ...

Cheerleader: Ready? Okay!11 reviews
Elissa Stein, 2004

High school memories
I loved this book! The great illustrations brought back memories of freezing at the big game, yelling myself hoarse when our team made the goal, and thoroughly enjoying myself. It's a must to take to your reunion.

PRISON CHEERLEADER: How A Nice Jewish Girl Went Wrong Doing Right6 reviews

Fascinating Story
It just goes to show you how much of a difference one person can make. What an amazing journey for a "nice little Jewish girl from the South."

The cheerleader47 reviews
Ruth Doan MacDougall

Putnam, 1973

I'm In Tears Right Now
I first read 'The Cheerleader' as a young high schooler back in the 1970's, when 50's nostalgia was going strong. I immersed myself in this book and read it over and over again. My friends and I adopted some of the expressions the characters used, and talked about them like they were friends of ours. When I saw that the book is available now, and I can relive my high school experience, I became ...

Cheerleaders: Pulling Together Bk. 21 (Cheerleaders)1 review
Diane Hoh

Scholastic, 1987

Pulling Together
I read a few of the cheerleaders books, and they are great. They kept me coming for more. One of my favorites was #21, Pulling Together. It talked about how everyone dealed with eachother on the cheerleading squad, and how the squad goes out to the lake. All Cheerleaders books have a funny twist, and a tricky plot. These books often remind me of the Sweet Valley High, and Sweet Valley Twins ...

Class Reunions - Life Friends Forever1 review

Ken Rink, 2009

In depth, to the point. Very informative.
Had this book been available years ago, it would have made our class reunions a breeze! We did things the hard way trying to find classmates after 10 and 20 years. It's even worse today because everyone has anwering machines and voice mail and rarely does anyone want to give out any information. By using the recommendations in this book, it takes all the hard work out of it and makes things ...

The CheerLeaders and Vampires In Your Life1 review
Elaine Kennedy McIvor

lulu.com, 2010

The writing on the wall.... Highly recommended.
I read this book in little chunks of time, throughout a busy week. I loved the way it signposted the reader to other resources to help themselves. This is congruent with the author 'sharing a message' not being a guru. The author believes there are two kinds of people, those you connect with... and the other people! Some people leave you feeling good and others leave you drained of energy, ...

Sports Illustrated: Hate Mail from Cheerleaders and Other Adventures from the Life of Rick Reilly2 reviews
Rick Reilly

Sports Illustrated, 2008

An Enjoyable Book, Full of Great Stories (Funny and Sad...)
A co-worker recommended this book and I'm glad I ordered it. Each story is typically about 3 pages long. Some nights I'd read a couple stories, other nights many more. Reilly is very witty and I found myself chuckling during several of the stories. I'd highly recommend the book and will probably order another of his now; if I like that one too I'll keep buying!

The Aging Cheerleader's Alphabet1 review
Jeanette Lynes

Mansfield Press, 2003

Lovely and Amazing
I underestimated cheerleaders until Jeanette Lynes re-imagined the pom-pom girl as cosmic praise-giver. She's one of those rare poets you can also introduce to your friends who don't read poetry. In my personal pantheon she's hanging out with Alice Munro, Charles Simic, and Lucinda Williams.

The Cheerleader Fitness Plan: Get Fit and Fabulous in Just Six Weeks!1 review

Plume, 2009

Excellent Read.
Lindsay Brin truly did an awesome job writing this book. It is amongst the best written diet/exercise books I have ever read. Somehow or other she manages to keep it interesting and provide you with useful information at the same time. Brin talks a lot about the importance of interval training in getting the body you desire but also stresses the importance of working off more than you take in ...

Coffee Cheerleader: servin' up fun everyday1 review
Denyce Reed, Amy Koeniger

A. Koeniger, 1999

Witty, fun Seattle humor
This book is full of incredibly funny coffee humor. If you like coffee you'll love this book. The content however may be easier for adults to understand than children. but all around I have to say the authors are two incredibally talented people because this is one fuuny book!
