Beautiful story
I now have this complete set of books. I read this book in one day it was beautiful and smooth reading. Janette Oke is amazing and the saga keeps going in the "Prairie Legacy" series. If you purchase the "Love comes Softly" series then you really need to buy the "Prairie legacy" ones as well. You will be blessed and amazed as you you follow the Davis family story.

A wonderful historical western romance!
I was fortunate to get this free on my Kindle. I like historical romance, but seldom have read historical westerns. I thoroughly enjoyed this delightful read and went on to purchase her next two books in the series, and cannot wait for the 4th! It is Christian romance without becoming preach-y, which I appreciate. I enjoyed it so much, I just ordered a book for my niece--which is nice because I ...

Loved This, And It Was Free!
I enjoyed this read. I've always liked mysteries so that's probably why. Also, I am from Amish descent which makes it more interesting to me. I thought it was a good read, and a bargain considering I got it for free. I wouldn't have paid more than $10 for it, but for free it's worth reading.

Good book, but hard to put down.
I also got this book while it was offered free. I like suspense books with a twist. This one has it for sure. I realized it does have a christian theme to it, but barely. So don't let the christian under tone keep you from reading it. It is a good read and keeps you interested jumping between different characters and their points of view. It comes together well at the end. Definitely would ...

It gave me a lot to think about
The plot has been discussed, so I won't even go there. I have to be honest and say that when I first started this book, I really wasn't sure if I was going to be able to get through it. It was just tedious at the beginning, but because the reviews were so good, I decided to stay with it. I am so glad I did. When the book finally took hold for me, I couldn't put it down. I like books that ...

"Highland Blessings" by Jennifer Hudson Taylor
My Review: When I first agreed to read Highland Blessings by Jennifer Hudson Taylor, I was a little apprehensive about the book because of the country setting and brogue issues. I am so glad I chose to read it! It was engaging the whole way through the book, and the whole storyline flowed naturally, particularly for the time era and country setting and clan rules, keeping me intrigued. ...

A great read
I thought this book was very god from start to finish. As a nurse myself, I enjoyed reading a book that focuses on a good hospital love story. The book has a steady pace from start to finish. It has a good storyline and makes for good reading. I recommend this book.

too much religious association
i really wanted to read this book however when karen mentioned that god had published the book i stopped in my tracks. i have no qualms with christian authors but come on be realistic either write an amazing book of fiction or write an amazing book of nonfiction dealing with some facet of religion.

GREAT start to a wonderful series. (:
The Katie Parker Production Series is an amazing one. This book will make you laugh, cry, && feel emotionally attached to the characters throughout the whole book. If you are looking for a fast, clean, wholesome, witty read, than the Katie Parker series is for you. I read all three books in the series & loved them all. These books deal with real issues that many people go through, && even though ...

What Is the Gospel?

Good News Publishers/Crossway Books, 2010
I want this in the hands of every church member!
What is the Gospel? That's a tough question especially for someone to attempt to answer in their first attempt at a book. Greg Gilbert has had some training for sure, however, in his work with Mark Dever, so I was pretty confident that he could do it. Actually, this is not my first experience with Gilbert answering this question. I have recently read his addendum to Proclaiming a ...

It was a Kindle Freebie
It wasn't horrible and it wasn't great. It was an easy book to read and predictable but I still enjoyed it. The repetitiveness was a little too much for me and as others have said, the "guilt" was overdone but all in all it wasn't a bad little story. My thanks to the author for offering it up as a free Kindle book.
Nine Ways God Always Speaks

When God Speaks, I want to hear him!
Nine Ways God Always Speaks caught my attention immediately. I've pondered life's questions, big and small. I've pondered life's decisions, big and small. I've often wondered if God was speaking, and more importantly, if he was speaking directly to ME. In a way that's real and conversational, Herringshaw and Schuchmann outline the various ways that God speaks. Without being dogmatic or ...

Reading At The Beach: Reviews
This is the first book by Alison Strobel I've read, and it was a doozy. The story goes back and forth from character to character. Kim is being abused by Rick, Joshua is raising his young daughter after his wife dies, and he has to deal with his in laws, and Debbie is there for everyone, know matter what they need. All the characters are multi faceted and well developed. The characters of Kim and ...
