The "Bible" for Hematological malignancy classification.
Please ignore the one star rating by the previous puerile reviewers who do not understand that you rate products for content and not by Amazon's service. This is a must have reference and study book for all Hematologists and Hematopathologists in training and practice the world over. I have even have the fortune to work in the same institution as Dr. Jaffe. A welcomed update!

Came as promised. I bought one at a cheaper price a couple months earlier, so this one seemed a little high on price. As always, I was pleased with the service (and there wasn't a cheaper one available elsewhere either).

Every new clinician's dream
The DSM-IV Made Easy is perfect for new clinicians and/or students. It not only indcludes all the information you need from the DSM-IV, but it includes vignettes, and even practice cases at the end of the book. It's a great resource, and much easier to skim through when making a diagnosis choice. I definitely recommend this product!

This is a great version. 2009 was pretty good but the professional version of 2010 ICD-9 book is excellent and has excellent pictures in it.

A truly enjoyable read
Like another reviewer, I read the piece in the NY Times and enjoyed it enough that I pre-ordered the Kindle edition of this book. I'm very glad I did. As a records and information manager I have experience with a different kind of taxonomy - ordering documents in ways that allow the right information to be found by the right person at the right time - but there are enough similarities to the ...

Excellent photos, informative text, and a great book!
Finding lots of scrapers and an arrowhead on our property got my wife and I curious about who made these artifacts and when. This book is a fantastic resource for learning about how to classify Paleo-Indian artifacts and should definitely be in the library of anyone who wants to know more about them. It's slightly off-putting that the prices of many pieces are included, obviously catering to ...

Recent and Comprehensive: a great guide to meteorites
I think Norton and Chitwood have done a great piece of work with this guide. It is very readable, but also up-to-date and comprehensive. As a collector, I find it covers the bases thoroughly. The parts describing hunting for meteorites, the tools and techniques used for determining meteorite authenticity, and the anecdotal information on hunters and various finds are a pleasant bonus I was not ...

Thorough and thoughtful
This book exceeded my expectations. It covered in great detail the concepts of character, strengths, and virtues. Concepts were clearly defined, with extensive background and supporting information. While it is not a necessarily easy read, it is one of the most extensive and exhaustive works that I have come across. It was VERY useful and provided me with more information than I imagined.

Great resource!
Many of my students & kids at the nature center where I volunteer find caterpillars and want to know what kind they are. We also often keep caterpillars in our butterfly keeper and need to know what to feed the little wigglers. This book has the answers we need.
