I do not read comic books. I got the first volume of The Maxx because I enjoyed the cartoon so much - and volume 1 is almost exactly like the cartoon. The same is with the first half of volume 2 - then it starts to expand in strange and interesting rhelms! Now - I can't help it, I'm ordering volume #3, I'm hooked.

Cliffhangers are one of the bests books I have ever read. I recommend this book to you if you love action packed adventures with teenage quirkiness. Every moment of the book was wonderful, and I regret that he stopped writing the series. Not only this book was neat, but every book in the series! You should really read it.

I would hope Mr. Black will write more, he is able to take a very complicated subject and break it down to a laymans understanding.
