truly inspired
This was extremely interesting and diverse; there's something in here for everyone. We bought this for our 22-year-old son who just graduated from Purdue, but I found myself reading it long into the night. A real accomplishment, full of wisdom.
Creamed At Commencement: A Graduation Mystery

a delightful cosy
Once again Farrelly has written a clever mystery with insights into the world of academia. There is a cast of very interesting characters,( a smart shoe shine lady, a former chambermaid and the requisite police officer), and a close friendship between 60 something Katie and 20 something Maria. Of course, there are suspects galore. Katie is opionated and clever. I especially loved that Katie's ...

Outstanding!
As a fan of Star Wars I was not disappointed by this book. Without giving much away, it really captured the feel of Star Wars for me with high action, comedy, some drama, and the occasional serious overtones. It both entertained me and made me think a little. It has some interesting plot points which make you think and creates a mystery type feel to the book. I'd highly recommend this to ...

Great gift for young graduates
I gave this to my daughter at her preschool graduation. She really enjoyed it and felt so big when she received it. Plus, she loves Hello Kitty. It's a cute story.

kids just love it!
We bought the entire Junie B book collection when we were on holiday in the States last year as they are very difficult to buy in Australia. It was so exciting to find that they were available on cd! Lana Quintal reads them so, so well. My two kids (aged 6 and 8) love them so much that we've had to stop them listening to them at bedtime (which was why we bought them!) as they weren't getting to ...
Commencement Speech To His Nephew's Graduating Class: May 30, 2008, Nice France

If all High School speechs could be this good
I bought this speech more as a curiosity than anything else...but my .99 turned into a wonderful speech that could only be topped by being present when it was delivered to this graduating class. It is a brilliant speech and worth reading more than once.

Truth amid a sea of relativism.
This is an outstanding criticism of American materialism and its roots in secular humanism. The fact that it was delivered at Harvard makes one appreciate Sozhenitsyn's courage to preach this message to those who especially need to hear it. This book will always be relevant to American culture as long as it continues to follow the path of belief in undisciplined liberty.

This is coffee for America's morning
I always find it interesting how many people will try to detract from these sorts of views. Wake up. My 14 year old read this, along with "The Terrible Truth About Liberals". She looked at me, shrugged her shoulders, and said, "Yeah ... So? Doeasn't everyone already know all of that stuff?" I told her, "No." She promptly wrote a report on this book, along with a report on Mr. Boortz. She was ...

Not So Good
I suppose it had to happen sooner or later. I was disappointed by a Biscuit book! The art is just as endearing as in previous volumes but the story really misses the mark. In previous special event flap books, we see Biscuit and the Girl-in-purple-sneakers experience holidays and events from a child's perspective. But each manages to say something about how a child experiences the ...
