Book Review
This is a wonderful book. It breakes down the Condominum Act in terms that officers of associations and the owners of individual units can understand. Five stars is even to low to rate how wonderful this book is!

A reasoned voice in the huckster crowd
My review title pretty well sums it up. Eldred presents a well reasoned argument for investing in condos. He provides solid advice on the pertinent subjects, including tenant and association selection. And he does it with an encouraging tone that doesn't digress into pie in the sky hype. I think I'll check out some of his other work.

Where it all begins
An awesome look at the reality of what they do to the old people here in Florida. MacDonald essentially indicts our entire society. This novel's more relevant today than ever, MacDonald was truly visionary. These characters are real people and they live here in Florida, except for the hero character, Sam Harrison, who might as well have been named Travis McGee. I haven't read all of Johnny Mac, ...

Read this book before you leap into a shared ownership
This book showed me the "red flags" to look for when evaluating a shared ownership developement and helped me to avoid buying into a nightmare. Ohhh, I'm so glad I read this book. I read 4 other books on buying a condo and this book was by far the most practical and answered my questions. The format is easy to read and quickly search. The tips and traps opens your eyes to what you're getting ...

Not much bang for the buck here
In a word.... this book is superficial. It should be called a pamphlet, not a book, with only 25 pages and is not worth the list price of $25.00. It is well written but very basic in nature. It took 20 minutes to read and did not include much meat. Use the search capabilities of the Internet and you will learn much more for free than this book gives. I also bought "The Homeowners Association ...

THE CO-OP BIBLE: word! the truth is inside!
I recently bought a co-op in Manhattan (July 2001) and before doing so; I went to the bookstores and scanned the shelves for books that I thought would help me out. With so many titles to choose from, how could one know what is worth buying and the rest browsing? I ended up settling down with two books and I can happily recommend "The Co-Op Bible: Everything You Needed to Know About Co-Ops and ...
