Still Laughing..........
I haven't laughed this hard while reading since David Sedaris' last collection of essays. Jennifer Layton has an uncanny ability to recognize the absurd in everyday situations and capture it in writing. I read this book in one VERY enjoyable sitting. Everyone I know will be getting this book in their stockings this year!

Hillary's burning desire.
To read Julia Gorin's "Clintonisms. The Amusing, Confusing, and Suspect Musings of Billary" is to be transported back to the time of the Clinton presidency. With no time off for good behavior. "send me your money...."
I often find myself tempted to throw 'send me your money' by suicidal tendencies in my cd player whenever Hinn, or any other televangelist of his nature is mentioned. I applaud these two Christian ministers for digging around and finding the dirt that is Hinn. And we wonder why Hinn is now being investigated by the IRS for tax evasion???? I've got a few theories, but let's start with Hinn ...

Self-publishing: yes or no?
If you want to know how you can have your book published, this is the book for you. It presents its ideas in plain English and is up to date in its information. The author's honest and realistic approach to the process is a refreshing change from the many other books on the subject. She doesn't try to make you believe that self-publishing is the only way to go, but rather presents the pros and ...

Spoke to My Soul
I read Moore's book and was very impressed with each of the case studies. In some way, each person's story spoke to my own situation in a controlling relationship. There were many times that I had to put the book aside because it hurt too much to keep reading. As I kept turning the pages, I saw all of the patterns in my own life and then the lightbulb went off and I thought, "That's me!" If you ...

I Love this Book
This book has helped me to dive deeper in my own personal spiritual journey. It has helped me make sense of so much about Christian faith and spirituality that mystified me before. What's ironic about his is that this is a book that stresses true faith and spirituality as becoming comfortable with mystery. The whole point is that it is by living paradoxical lives that we grow closer to God: ...

Exactly what you need for teaching writing.
A must have for anyone teaching writing to 4-8th graders! Even though I have been out of school for several years, I feel completely comfortable and confident when I use this book to teach writing to my daughter. There are 180 lessons (one for each day of the school year) that build on each other. It starts with learning what a noun is, then a proper noun and then you review those. Then it ...

A Breakthrough Book!
The material on increasing your awareness of self-worth is precious and ground-breaking. I also appreciated the material about the multi-dimensional layers of our DNA, and the discussion about George W. Bush as a "place holder" and helping many to see what would otherwise have taken much longer. I highly recommend this book, and it is my favorite Kryon book so far.
