Connecting Mathematical Ideas book
I had to buy this book for a class in college, so I went online to find it. The book was worth the buy. It comes with a disk with examples of what is discussed in the book, and it is great for learning about the constructivist view in mathematical education. I would reccommend this to teachers looking to learn more about mathematical constructivism.

Computer Science is fun!
I had to buy this for school and it was actually one of the only textbooks I have somewhat enjoyed reading. In the beginning of every chapter, there is a section called the "lighter side of the lab" and it always made me giggle a little. I learned a lot from this book and I definitely recommend it to anyone interested in the basics of your computer "under the hood".

Review of Crabb's "Connecting"
As a counselor and pscyhologist Dr. Crabb spent decades analyzing people's problems from a scientific perspective. Solutions he offered were based upon scientific and psychological terms. In "Connecting," Dr. Crabb looks at people's problems from a spiritual perspective. Solutions he offers from this perspective are based upon biblical and spiritual understanding. Good Book
To be completely honest the only reason I bought this book was because it was required for one of my classes. Overall though the book is a fairly easy read with lots of demonstrations throughout. In the center of the book there are also several color "plates" as they call them, that are refered to during the reading. This book also comes with a Coglab manual. If you are not taking a class ...

Challenging but profound...
This is the second time that I've read Randy Frazee's "The Connecting Church," and it has become a favorite of mine. I've read it both times with other people, and in both cases, there were folks who struggled with his concepts. His basic premise is that the American lifestyle, even (and maybe especially) in the church, is dominated by the triplet evils of individualism, isolation, and ...
