READERS BEWARE!
Okay, let me just say if you don't have time to read, don't even open up this book. Why, because you won't be able to put it down!!! I love Joan Johnston's books, and this one was no exception. Right from the very first page I was hooked, and every page after, right to the very last. I zipped though this book in only a few short days, and I'm not a fast reader, have three young kids, work ...

Rough Riders-Excellent Series!
I love this series. I said Branded as Trouble was the best in the series, but I have changed my mind. Shoulda Been A Cowboy is even better. This is Cam and Domini's story. Cam's a ex soldier who has come home and has to deal with the loss of his leg and his nightmares of the war. He has pushed his family away because he doesn't want them to see his physical and mental scars. Domini has been ...

5 blue ribbons from Romance Junkies
Clay Bodine has lived his entire life at the Lazy B Ranch and he takes the running of the ranch as well as his employees welfare very seriously. He's a controlling man who doesn't like surprises - especially when the unexpected surprise is a certain petite redhead whom his brother hired and brought home. Bobbie Carlington has learned to fend for herself and she certainly doesn't have to ...

A Touching Story of a Family & Their Journey
I really enjoyed this poignant story by Monica Holloway. I read it from the point of view of a mom and someone who has worked with the autism community for ten years. Although I work with the more severe side of the spectrum, following the journey of Wills and Cowboy was one filled with anxiety, tears, love, giggles and tiny triumphs which lead to huge leaps of success for this little boy. I ...

Code of the West
The Wyoming legislature each received a copy of Cowboy Ethics, and a copy made it's way to my Pastor. After reading it he was inspired by James Owen. We are going to use the Code of the West within the Cowboy Ethics to shape our summer series. Taking a weekend to dive into each of the 10 codes. We will be using the book for inspiration and adding scripture to each of the 10 codes of the ...

Terrific Characters!
This book has everything that makes a romance sparkle. It's funny, warm, sexy, touching and deeply meaningful. Put a tortured country music star on a farm with a pregnant woman, her two children, and a bunch of goats, and you have a story that pulls on the heartstrings. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

cowboy values
A great book and XLNT service. I plan to give it to a young man who is graduating this year from the AF Academy with the advice that if he, through life, lives by Cowboy Values and the Cadet Honor Code, he'll never do anything for which he'll be embarrassed.

The Legacy of Cowboy Small
Today I am 55. I ride endurance and I have ridden thousands of miles with my horse. Unlike most, I did not start riding until I was nearly 50. My parents are moving out of the house where I was raised. Last month I went home to help with some of the details. One forgotten detail that I found was the 1949 version of the book, "Cowboy Small" that my grandmother gave to me in 1959. As I ...

What a cowboy, what an elephant!
This book carried an important thread from beginning to end: the Elephant as "Storyteller." Although baby Amy was rescued from a horrible elephant slaughter in Africa, the author got through it quickly, which made it tolerable. When the rich but humble cowboy enters the story, I wanted to hail him as hero for his ability to be a nonconformist at the most crucial and correct times, and to hail ...

Cops and Cowby fun!
Cops and Cowboys, let's admit it, ladies, are some of the best fantasy-making men. At least to me. If you fall into this category as well, this will probably be a great read for you. I really, really liked it and thought it was toe-curling fun! Read it along with another good one---Rough, Raw and Ready (Rough Riders).

Kissing Cowboy by JC Wilder . . . Reader Comments
Kissing Cowboy is an absolutely fantastic story about 2 former best friends. Our heroine, Pip left town 9 years ago after being publically humiliated by Cowboy when they were publicly caught making out. Now she's returned home to get him out of her heart. This is an emotion packed, super hot and sexy story that will have you reading as fast as you can. An unexpected bonus is the many pages ...

Excellent start!
While I don't normally read romance I did read this book because this author is a friend of mine. In all honesty I was not expecting to become as involved with the character Libby as I did. At one point in the story I did part ways with what Libby did and it revealed to me how much I was involved with the story and how I identified with Libby's character. Libby gets herself into some ...

One hot cowboy and one hot read...
Lacy Mason is on a mission to make her and her daugther's life better. Working at a cowboy bar to make enough money to pay for her daugther's hospital bills and her college education wasn't all that glamorous, but the job paid the bills. Wyatt Anderson is a sexy cowboy sho Lacy think will be a moment or two of pleasure. The characters differ in many aspects, but the driving force of sexuality and ...

Tom Perini's "Texas Cowboy Cooking"
"Texas Cowboy Cooking" is an absolute delight to read. The tales of the West in central Texas and the history included in the book is just great. The book was shipped very quickly. It was securely wrapped and protected from moisture. I have nothing but good things to say about both the product and the seller.

The truth shall set you free
This is the perfect sequel to Landry's Boys by Peter Golenbock. Together they tell the inside story of the rise and fall, and rise and fall, of America's Team in lurid detail. At times seamy, at others shocking, Pearlman recounts the characters and events that shaped the NFL's most visible franchise. Perspectives on players, coaches and ownership will change as the story unfolds. I found ...
