Warrior's rule!
All of the Erin Hunter books are great! I just love them and have read them many times over. I am not a reader, I hate to read!!! But give me a Warrior series book and leave me alone for a few days. They are the best. Thanks Erin for opening up a new world for me.

Darkest Hour (Mediator)57 reviews
Jenny Carroll

Simon & Schuster Childrens Books, 2002

the best of the series ... so far
I love this book , and I love the character Jesse. This book is nothing but nonstop action and thrills , and some parts are so sad , and how Suze does to get Jesse back is certainly is unexpected. Although the new character Paul is very intriguing and I like his character , I can't wait to read the next book to find out about him.And I love the ending . Meg cabot really undone herself this time!

The Coming of Dragons: The Darkest Age I3 reviews
A.J. Lake

Bloomsbury USA Children's Books, 2006

A Brilliant Book!
For the fans of fiction: a must read! Fast-paced and accurate, I never put the book down once. The plot is well-planned and detailed, as well as exiting and interesting. Curiosity to find out what happens next in this book is absolutely over-whelming! The beginning, when I started, was not the greatest of beginnings (I have to say) but after you get to know the situation and the characters, I ...

The Darkest Clearing10 reviews

A terrific read
This book is very exciting. The plot clicks right along, and the character development is magnetic. The Coen brothers should be considering this story for their next film.

After the Darkest Hour : How Suffering Begins the Journey to Wisdom7 reviews
Kathleen A. Brehony, 2001

One of the most helpful books during grieving
I read several books, all of which were helpful to me recently when I lost someone I loved. This book, however, stayed with me. I couldn't put it down and read it all within two nights, actually three, because I saved the last few pages until the third night (didn't want it to end). I had taken it out at the library, but after reading it decided to buy it from Amazon. Brehony incorporates all ...

Darkest Hours: A Narrative Encyclopedia of Worldwide Disasters from Ancient Times to the Present6 reviews
Jay Robert Nash

Pocket Books, 1977

First Rate Encylopedia
Every now and then a book comes along which can almost be said to be the last word in its field. Darkest Hours is one of those books. Nash covers worldwide disasters from ancient times to the late twentieth century, with entries that are both logical and properly placed. While many of the entries are short, Darkest Hours is no dictionary, but rather a true encylopedia. Nash includes a ...

Surviving the Darkest Days8 reviews
Tonetta Chester

Wheatmark, 2008

A wonderful read!
This was a brilliantly written storyline that Ms. Chester has created. The book is so visual that it felt as though I was in the book myself. It is hard to believe that this is only Ms. Chester's 1st book! She is well on her way! I can't WAIT to read the follow up in the series. Keep up the good work!

Informative, and interesting
Pearl Harbor is a day that our nation will never forget, and this book helps those who weren't there understand why it is imperative to remember. This book draws up a landscape of history that is relevant to the incident, and discusses both prior and after effects of this notorious day. In Darkest Depths (Wilderness)2 reviews
David Thompson

Leisure, 2008

Superb!
Legendary mountain man Shakespeare McNair has seen enough winters in the wilderness to know when something isn't right. Beneath the waters of the lake near his new home, something is definitely off. Waves appeared without any wind to create them, fishing poles are snatched from hands, something malevolent out there...watching them. Shakespeare knows it's only a matter of time before the creature ...

Darkest Days, Brightest Nights3 reviews
Kevin Jackson

Llumina Press, 2004

Tragedy to Triumph!
This is a detailed autobiography of one bright all-American young man. The author's style enables the reader to understand both the ups and the downs of bipolar disorder. The book makes clear the very real dangers at both extremes. I am particularly impressed with the author's positive approach to managing a successful life despite an unwanted diagnosis. This book is inspiring!

It's Always Darkest Before the Fun Comes Up2 reviews
Chonda Pierce

Zondervan Publishing Company, 1998

Chonda mingles laughter and tears -- INSPIRING!
Chonda takes the pain of life and sees joy and laughter because of Christ. She is one funny lady.... and a southern lady at that. Her quick wit and southern charm combine to make this one must listen to audiobook! Our family listened to it on a recent vacation. It made the miles more enjoyable and pass by much more quickly.
