Typical Gena- Funny, witty and hot as hell
I know I'm a bad bad Book Lover but I only read Gena's story in this anthology, so this review is only for The Darkest Angel. I'm a total Gena Showalter addict so I was really thrilled to find this book on netgalley in January. Why did it take me sooo long to read then you ask yourself? Bad case of being unable to remember netgalley even exists. You know, it's not like a my real life ...

Best Warriors book
Though it was very violent, it has some love to hate characters like Scourge and Tigerstar. It is the perfect finale to Fire alone will save the clan prophecy. I mean, Fireheart becomes Firestar, Scourge adds some wiolence, and you see a lot of action. Unfortunately, the violence isn`t good for younger Warriors readers. Especially Stonepelt`s and Tigerstar`s death. To concle ude, this is in ...

Delectable
I have never written a review before but I had to for this book. It is amazing! I have read Gena Showalter before and enjoyed her but this book is the best I've read. It is exciting and so, so sexy! Lucien is just delicious. The Darkest Kiss is a well written and thoroughly enjoyable read - I had difficulty putting it down. I highly recommend it!!!!

Gena Showalter's ebooks rocks just as well as her novels
With each book and e-book Ms. Showalter writes her writing is constantly improving as well as her creativity. I look more forward to her mini ebooks as well as her novels and this book is no different. The Greek Goddess of Strenght Nike (heroine) and the Lord Titan (Atlas) are two well developed characters that develop an intense hate-love relationship. This relationship quickly reverses itself ...

Loved it
This was the first Gena Showalter book I'd ever read, and I was completely taken by it. In fact, when I was finished, I went back to the library and took out three more of her books. She is truly a great author, really knows how to make you feel for the characters.

Astounding!!!!!!
The darkest child is simply an astounding book. I can't believe that I took so long to get to it. The story is gripping and will command the readers' attention. If you want to know what it was like to live in a world of segregation and mental deterioration, then I highly recommend this book.

The Build Up is Great, the Ending is a Dud
I read this book and Breathless just a few weeks apart from each other and felt they both had the same downfall. Dean Koontz spends so much time developing his characters and the story that he seems to run out of steam when it comes time to wrap things up. The ending came across as very anticlimatic to me with too many loose ends.

Review From Books & Wine
It's a bit strange, but when I see The Awakening as a title, I always think of Kate Chopin. However, Kelly Armstrong's book entitled The Awakening has nothing to do with Chopin. It is a continuation of the most excellent novel, The Summoning. Chloe is back, along with -GUSH- Derek! The What The F-ery continues from the very opening. I would love to post a summary, but it would be unfair to those ...

"For me, special meant different, and not in a good way. I'd wanted to be normal, and I guess the irony is that, the whole time I was dreaming of a normal life, I already had one ... or a whole lot closer to it than I would ever have again." - Chloe Saunders Chloe just wants to be normal, to have other kids think of her as normal, even though she knows she really isn't. Her mother is dead, her ...

Love hate relationship
Same thing I said for book 4: I love and hate these books. I am not really into the whole vampire/ware-wolf/shifter type stories but I cannot put this series down. It started with the first 3 and I was happy when it seemed like there were only 6. Now I am waiting on 8 and 9. I just have to know what happens to Riley Jensen!

The Reckoning - A book to be reckoned with.
Title: The Reckoning Author: Kelley Armstrong Publisher: HarperCollins Length: 400pgs Hardcover Rating: 4.5/5 To say that I loved this series right away would be an overstatement. When I first picked up a copy of The Summoning I was actually frustrated with the writing, and wasn't a fan of the main character. But things started changing when I got through The Awakening and by the time ...

"Wonderful"
I simply don't have enough time to write down all the reason "The River of Doubt" is one of the best history books I've ever read...maybe the best. So let me quickly pen two: 1. The subject of Roosevelt's journey toward the Amazon River is first rate drama. It will mesmerize you. 2. Candice Millard is a gifted historian and an amazingly talented writer. I cannot think of anyone better. ...

5 Hearts from The Romance Studio!
This is a roller coaster ride of a story from start to finish. Though Rob's murder is heart-wrenching for all three of the main characters, their need to comfort each other allows them to finally be open about their mutual desire. The murder plot and the threat to Lacey helps force all three of them together so they have to face their feelings. The depth of feeling between Lacey, Mason, and Tyler ...

Get This Pre-quel Short Story FREE
This story is the pre-quel to the Lords of the Underworld Series and can be obtained for FREE in it's entirety by selecting the free kindle sample for the Lords Of the Underworld Bundle (so save yourself the money). It's not a great story, but it does provide the background to the series, and from what I've heard it is not reflective of the author's usual writing. It's worth reading (esp. for ...
