Simple yet powerful
In a direct style, the author presents us a lot of information and references as well as her impressive personal experience in Fair Trade, backed by a thorough research. The title can be misleading: it is not only for beginners, as all Fair Trade followers can benefit from reading it. Jackie tells us how she has met with many relevant persons along the years, around the world and encourages ...

Is this book being bombed?
Its a pity that a few (or the same?) undergrad studends, unhappy (?) with the recommended text for their circuit analysis course (or unhappy with their teacher?), which, by sure, have never seen many more texts on the subject, and possibly don't grasp a lot of the relevant matters, feel confident to (under)rate this book as they do. The authors of this book have a place in the history of ...

Humor of olden still golden
I just love this stuff. For every time our parents claim how properly they were brought up, there is a cartoon in this book that reminds me that they were every bit as bawdy as we are today. They just had better taste about it. This book starts with a history that isn't all that much to read and then single panel cartoons each page. The art is what it is and the jokes are the ones we've been ...

Look past the cover! This has substance
The old saying "Don't judge a book by its cover" is definitely true in the case of "Job Search Bloopers" by Laura DeCarlo and Susan Guarneri. When I first viewed the book on the shelf, the cartoon cover and fun title led me to believe that I'd be reading fluffy, turn-the-page quickly anecdotes from a series of unfortunate job seekers--something like the "Darwin Awards" of the careers industry. ...
