I just had to add my comments to all the other great ones already posted. I love this book! Unlike some of my other projects still waiting to be completed, I can't wait to finish one & start another! It's October & I'm actually starting Christmas presents. I have tons of "Don't-know-why-I-bought-it" fabric & scraps of African fabric. I have made some wonderful looks-like African baskets & have ...

FABULOUS!
I have owned this book for over a year and always thought it was an excellent book but wasn't inspired to write a review until just recently, when I received a new book I purchased called "Caribbean Style". Don't buy furniture without this book.
I've bought this book twice - it's a must have before you shop for furniture. You save so much money the book really doesn't cost you anything. It will make you an informed shopper when buying furniture. Kimberly tells you what brands are sold where, and the discount you can expect. Information on stores to visit, stores to just call in your order, or stores to avoid are given - saving both ...

The best seed bead book I have found.
This is the best seed bead book I have found. I own 12 books, and of the 12, this one is by far the one that I used the most. When I started seed beading, I got really frustrated and kept hoping for a book that would give clear concise directions. THIS IS THE ONE! The instructions are very easy and the illustrations really help.

A rare look at the work of a modern master
I've been admiring photos of Lisa Lichtenfels' work for a good few years. Now and then a photo will turn up in this or that doll magazine, of a human or demihuman figure so realistic, so luminous, so detailed, it is hard to believe that it's a "cloth doll" over an "armature." Ms. Lichtenfels' art falls into the category of "if you have to ask how much, you can't afford it." So for most of ...

The Cadillac
I've often looked through this book shutting it firmly overwhelmed by the artistry and color examples of someone who takes "eggs" and finds a way to jettison into fine art. It's an amazing way to learn about pysanky, Ukrainian egg designing in a wax resist process and then consider approaching it from a very fine arts perspective. It has some of the loveliest pictures I've ever seen. It does ...
