The perfect cube for your cube
If you're new to Dilbert, he's a small guy who works in a highly bureaucratic engineering firm. The comics satirize office politics beautifully. The 2010 Day to Day calendar is a small block of 365 dated comic strips, designed to be torn off on a daily basis. Each page is printed in color - the overall color scheme is green and purple. This year a new addition to the Day to Day calendar is ...

Very Elegant
I kept going back and forth on if I should buy this set, I thought the swirls on the lid were just painted on. I finally broke down and purchased it thinking that if I didn't like it my nieces would. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the details of the lid are stamped in. In fact it's very elegant. (I like running my fingers over them LOL) Had I known that, this would have ...

My son is not overly excited about reading but when a new "Wimpy Kid" book comes out, he wants it right away and will read it in one night. He loves the books so much he has read them again and again! The charecter is someone that young kids can identify and laught with. It is a great book.

Great Show, Fantastic Book.
I decided to order this book since I started watched "The Vampire Diaries" on the CW. I love the show, and from my experience the book is always better. When I started the book, I was immediately ingrossed. I read each book in a day, The Awakening and then The Struggle. As soon as I finished I ran to Target to buy the next in the series that night, and finished that the next day too. The tv ...

Amazing!
I read the first 4 from the Vampire Diaries before I read the Twilight books. I fell in love. I honestly thought the series was over when Elena came back in Dark Reunion. I was so excited when I found out there was more! The book started out amazing. I LOVED how Elena was like a baby. It showed how much Stefan loved her because he took care of her. The ending left me breathless though. I have to ...

Great book for young kids!
We purchased this book for my 10 year old son who does NOT like to read. We were so happy that he liked it so much. He read it in 3 days. My son said the book is funny, he can totally relate to a lot of the things talked about in the book and it is VERY easy to read with short paragraphs. I would definitley recommend this book. I plan on purchasing the whole series for my son.

Max Brooks is easily THE authority on zombies
Well I finally figured out what all the hype was about. The illustrations give the book a visual framing that make me want to reread World War Z with this imagery swirling in my head (also a duly excellent read). And for those that don't normally want to attach gory images to their zombie stories, be not afraid! These are good, even for the squeamish among us. I've been a fan of Max Brooks' work ...

ME Wall Calendar
The pictures in this wall calendar are colorful and whimsical. There is enough room in the daily blocks to pencil in a few activities. The paper quality doesn't seem as thick as in previous ME wall calendars, but it is okay. Shipping was quick. The packing left a little corner smushed, but otherwise was okay.

Mr. Byrne's Wild Ride
What a fun, fast, interesting read...whether or not you're into riding your bike. David Byrne is braver than most when it comes to choosing where to ride and where NOT to ride. I've spent some time in a few of the locations he covers (e.g. Berlin, New York), but I don't mind him taking the ride FOR me in a few of these distant cities. He obviously thinks more about his surroundings than your ...

Wouldn't Be Without It
I've bought this calendar every year for many years. I love the beautiful photos and the fact that it's divided into one-week segments. This makes it convenient to list appointments and upcoming events. I don't like wall calendars as they make it difficult to write on and mar the wall onto which they are affixed. I wish all calendars were this practical and beautifully designed.

Puts you on the Front Lines...
This is a gripping first-person account of the battle of Guadalcanal. War correspondent Richard Tregaskis describes landing with the marines on August 7, 1942, in what was the first U.S. offensive of World War II. Readers see how the intial island landings caught the Japanese napping, and the marines quickly grabbed the air field. But within days Japan launched furious counter attacks by land, ...

These are the best calendars of this type by far. The photos are outstanding. They all look professional and the large date numbers are great. I highly recommend this over the tear-off type even though the cost is higher.
