Spiritual, Practical
A Review of Entering the Castle by Caroline Myss By Oliver DeMille To speak of your "theology" means the things you believe---especially metaphysical things beyond everyday physical observation---while the word "religion" refers more to your actions, behavior and choices in life. A third word, "spiritual," deals with something else altogether. In our modern world, we seem to be witnessing ...

Some reviewers missed the importance of the message....
Entering the Castle: Exploring Your Mystical Experience of God: 9-CD Live Lecture! I believe some of the other reviewers missed the extreme importance of this lecture. It was not meant to try and sooth our wounded spirits / childhoods, it was aimed at showing us the importance of learning about our own souls. If you get turned off by Caroline Myss' directness, and get your perception of the ...

Spiritual Enlightenment
This is an awesome book. Mr. Prince's examination of worship and how one must approach the worship of God brings us to a new level in terms of understanding exactly what God requires of His people. This book has helped me deepen my relationship with God. In addition, Mr. Prince's extrapolation of the earthly tabernacle vis a vis man becoming a truly spiritual tabernacle was eye-opening. Anyone ...

Memorable Book and Memorable Characters
Entering Normal by Anne D. Leclaire is one of those books that finds you reading late into the night and asking for more. As I was about to finish this book, I was sorry I couldn't be reading it for the first time. I was so sorry to see the pages almost turning themselves for a book which turned out to be a very memorable read. Opal is the 20 year old unmarried mother of a five year old son ...

Ome of the best books of all time!
The 1st time I read this book, I flipped it over & began again the second I finished the last page. That was 6 years ago and I have read it many times since. Joy williams tells a sort of falling-out-of-love story...very touching, very poetic, often very funny. The isolation everyone feels in modern society is an omnipresent theme & it is often explored here with a surreal exactness.

Fascinating and gripping book
John Leake researched for four years in Vienna and Los Angeles to write this book. He literally spoke to hundreths of people and the result is one of the fines written and researched true crime books I have read recently. What I really applaud the author for, is his genuine lack of vanity. He never judges and never comments on Austria's most gruesome serial killers of the 20th century. After Jack ...

Very seldom do I read a book twice. ENTERING THE STONE is one of those books. Barbara Hurd's reflections seep under your skin and take you places you've never been. It is frightening and revealing and profound. Hurd has discovered that in our deepest journeys a secret space may emerge, a white dog, the shape of emptiness, a spacious room.
