A MUST HAVE for your leadership library
Very well written book and easy to read and follow. Since change is a modern requirement for any business, it simply makes sense to focus in on what it takes to provide the necessary leadership to do so.

The original Dexter!
I am a huge Dexter fan. If you are discovering Dexter because of the TV show, you will be pleasantly surprised as the books do differ in the plot than the TV show! Dexter is the serial killer you root for, as he tracks down really bad guys and disposes of them in a way the police cannot!

Biggest Loser Cookbook has great recipes, my husband eats them.
This cookbook is great and provided me with great stuff for my husband and I to eat. Trying to get Coach D to eat healthy is kinda hard. So if I fill him up on these great dishes, maybe I can keep him healthy. Most of the recipes are easy and quick to fix.

Mac OS X Leopard, The Missing Manual
The Missing Manual is absolutely mandatory for anyone just getting a Mac and especially those switching from Windows to Apple's OS X Leopard system. It is exhaustingly thorough and accurate. Without it, I would not have known where to begin with so many alternatives in the Mac system. It is like having a translation for those switching from Windows. I highly recommend the Missing Manual as the ...

Buy the book, not the Kindle version
This is an excellent book full of interesting information and useful exercises. If you or your counseling clients want to make marriage work, this could really help. I bought the Kindle version, though, and now I have no access to the exercises. I borrowed the book from the library and made some copies of the exercises. There are so many good ones, this turned out to be a lot of time and ...

Wonderful book- First pregnancy, 25 y/o
I agree with the other reviews that say this is better than "What to Expect When You're Expecting"- this book is more concise, speaks directly to the mom-to- be, and is worded in a way that is concise and joyful. It has places for pictures, comments, feelings, tracking your information from your doctor visits for each month, and it breaks down the info for each week. It also has pictures of the ...

Should be required reading for all RN's
This book should be required reading for all nurses in all nursing programs. It is an unspoken nursing student idea that when you graduate from your nursing program that you should, "know it all." This is unrealistic for the new/novice nurse. This book explains the process and gives comfort the the new nurse that expecting you to "know it all" is unreasonable and is not an expectation of the ...

Excellent, this book will help your game
This series (I own all three) is very well written. Volume three is the workbook, which essentially a book-length quiz that you then grade yourself on, but it is very well done. I was able to identify weaknesses in my game and improve. Highly recommended. I say spend the money and get all three volumes. Your purchase will pay for itself very quickly.

Take me out to the ballgame
Football may have the hard-hitting action and basketball may have the slam-dunk feats, but baseball has character. In what other sport are the fans supposed to all stand in the middle of a game and sing a song? Furthermore, while basketball, football, hockey and soccer are all essentially different versions of the same game (pushing a puck or ball into the goal defended by the opposition), ...

Unsuspectedly WONDERFUL
The Author has offered, in a very timid and unassuming way A TRUE MASTERPIECE. The book looks poor, the text looks scarce.........still what he tells you can be translated IMMEDIATELY INTO REAL GOLD. In a world where all are Internet "gurus", in a world populated by people who pose as "experts", you find this gem, written by somebody who does not speak at length because HE LAYS DOWN HARD ...

I just bought this book today, having looked at most of the pages at the bookstore. I love his suggestion about the basic color palette needed to create depths and midtones and highlights for the eye area - given on page 63. There are 13 shades all in the ranges of beige-brown-pink-orange group so it is all about playing with gradual tones working with your skin; no blues, purples, greens etc. ...

Easy Read
The best thing I like about this book is that it maintains an enthusiastic energy throughout. It approaches having twins like an adventure rather than an insurmountable task. I am a physician so I really appreciate the common sense practical advice. For instance, the fact that there is a waiting period for getting into the best daycare centers and it is okay to put ear plugs in, if both babies ...
