very useful help
After learning how to type people using Rod Novichkov's method in his book How to Find Yourself and Your Best Match Socionics, I looked up my bosses and saw that one was ISTJ - perfectly suited for a career as a Veterinarian, the other was ESFJ - also great as a Veterinarian, I discovered that the book's personality type descriptions were very accurate and that recommendation of career were also ...

Great for 'streetwalking'
There are maps with even more detail, but this map is an essential. Lightweight, laminated (waterproof), pocket-sized, and with almost all the detail that most visitors need. Fully-opened, it is still small, unobtrusive, and easy to use. A handy gazeteer lists many streets and monuments, with map grid locations. There are some very tiny streets/alleys that are hard to make out, but that is true ...

Interesting entry into the Holmes legend
This book is about a genius teenage girl, recently orphaned, who meets Sherlock Holmes as he's studying bees. Well, she actually almost walks over him. So begins a rather clever story. Mary and Holmes think alike, which means that the amazing Sherlock Holmes finally has a friend with whom he can share his adventures and care about, as opposed to look down upon. The story is narrated by Mary ...

Great script read
Having seen the film more times than I probably should, the necessity to purchase The Dark Knight Screenplay was not far off on the list of things I wanted after viewing the film. Having placed over fifty pages of production art, make-up tests and still photos, topped with an excellant crime/drama of a story - only gives you more reason to buy what has already become such a landmark piece in the ...

Great Resource!
This book is much more than just a list of carb counts. First, it teaches what carbs are, including the often confusing sugar alcohols. Then it gives you a choice of carb counting methods, from very basic to very technical. It teaches how to use each method, read labels, and estimate when necessary. There are food lists for each method and quizzes to make sure you're understanding the info. Of ...

"The Minimalist Cooks" v2.0 is a great value
This book appears to be contain the recipes from two previous NYT recipe compilations by Mark Bittman, "The Minimalist Cooks Dinner" and "The Minimalist Cooks At Home", possibly along with some new material (the cover copy also says it contains "The Minimalist Entertains", which I never got). I no longer have my copies of those Bittman books, so it is hard to certain. Since those collections were ...

Trully a beautiful baby journal!
I can't be more pleased with the baby journal. It has a good binding, fun stuffs, beautiful graphics, and my most favorite part is that is has wonderful quotation, both from famous people and from the bible! I love it! I love it! It's good to get it while you're still pregnant (I'm 8 months pregnant now) as the journal has stuffs to fill out before the birth of the baby.

"A cat can gaze upon a king..."
"...and after a Dry Martini or a Sazerac Cocktail or two, we're all cats." This beautiful, marvelous book is the best book I've read this year. It is part biography, part history and part mixology. If you enjoy the odd cocktail or two, you owe a measure of thanks to Jerry Thomas, the "professor". In the latter half of the 19th century, Jerry (now that I feel like I know the man) perfected ...

17 Rules for a better way to live
Illustrative with many of his inspiring and life changing stories, Og Mandino tells us in this book, that "we have forgotten one of the basic facts of life. When we were given dominion over this world, we were also given dominion over ourselves. We are our own navigators. It was never God's intention to chart a map for each of us." "Life is a game" he also says, "it's spiritual, mysterious and ...

Great Map
I have been a fan of the "Streetwise" calendars for years -- a folding laminated city map that always folds nicely, stays firm and fits easily in pockets, purses, etc. On the reverse side, it also has a wider regional map, which is helpful to put your travels into context, especially if you use the map alongside tour books that often point out destinations outside the downtown region.

The Egyptian Book of the Dead The Papyrus of Ani was painted in Egypt about 1250 BC. It represents the best preserved, longest, most ornate, and beautifully executed example of the form of Mortuary Text known as the Egyptian Book of the Dead. Ani was a well-to-do scribe (or accountant) within the Temple hierarchy who, as he approached middle age, decided it was time to order his ...

In 668 AD in the Five Kingdoms (ancient Ireland), Abbot Ultan is acting as the emissary for Bishop Segene, the Abbot of Ard Macha. Highly Inspirational
I thoroughly enjoyed reading the book "Unlimited Power". I am reading the book again and I have already successfully used some of the concepts and ideas. This certainly is not a book that you read just once but the insightful and useful information needs to be read again and again until it really sticks. In fact, one benefits a lot by practising what is being suggested say for 3 -4 weeks and see ...
