Solutions, Not Just Analysis!
I've not read the entire book yet, but I already know this book will change my life. (No, it isn't a cure all. We all know there isn't one, though we secretly wish one could be found.) I just finished reading Chapter 5, "ADD Decision Dilemmas". This chapter wonderfully describes problems I've always classified as "procrastination", but really aren't. I'm 40+ now and being introspective, ...

You could pass with just this book and stay awake doing it
I pretty much passed the test by just working through the 600 pages of this book. It uses pictures, quizzes, crosswords and games to help you get the basic concepts and necessary formulas down. You'll go comatose if you try to tread the PMBOK itself and go blind while reading the Mulcahy prep book. I would use this book, do extra sample questions and look up answers that you get wrong ...

Very informative book and well worth the read
I think this is a very good to start raising a green baby. I wasn't the most eco-educated person out there, but I tried to do my part. When my wife and I started to try to have a baby, I wanted to have a healthy baby and started to do more research. What I like about this book is that it has a ton of information and resources and all laid out in a logical manner. The book was very easy to ...

Hug Trees, Get Rich
The book is a great addition to your library of David Bach books or as a stand alone book for anyone that is unfamiliar with David Bach's advice. I do not know of any other book on the market that combines environmentalism with creating personal wealth. Mr. Bach pulls it off nicely showing how living "green" causes one to quit over consuming and save money that can be invested for growth over the ...

Head First C#: beyond what I was looking for!
This book was beyond what I was looking for at the time when I was looking for a way to learn C#. After having read through most of the book already, I feel that this book is the way to learn C#. Everything is clearly presented in a logical and fun way that doesn't bore like a textbook normally would. However, as with any book, nothing is perfect and there are some good-found errors throughout ...

Inspiration.......
Inspiration on "going green", and I am not referring to Kermit the Frog. I just purchased this book and I can't put it down. I am jumping from one chapter to another learning all good ideas on becoming more aware of my own impact on the earth. I can't wait to sit down and consume this book chapter by chapter. It has inspired me to plan my next Bunco game that I am scheduled to host on ...

Great for All Ages and Diets
As a culinary educator I recommend this book highly to parents who not only have children with ADHD but also for those with food allergies. I use it as a resource since it addresses all the ingredients which are usually problems for children - soy, dairy, wheat, etc. and gives great alternatives and easy recipes to satisfy all palates. Those with allergies and intolerances will surely benefit ...

Don't Let the Gimmicks Fool You
Although I was initially put off by the non-serious cover and gimmicky premise, I decided to trust to O'Reilly and give this book a try. That turned out to be a great decision! Be forewarned that the real title should be "Head First AGILE Software Development," so don't expect other methodologies, but it definitely delivers. Whether you're just beginning to take the plunge into agile ...

A baby is almost guaranteed if you read this book
If your best friend was a book it would be this one. Dr Beer describes in easy to understand words how the immune system can go into overkill in some women. The result is miscarriage, IVF failure and infertility. But these outcomes can be prevented with the right tests and treatments. I read this book and found it technical when necessary but with lots of human interest stories and studies to ...

This is the most comprehensive, easy to use, guide for eco-friendly living that I have seen in years. Excellent general training book.
Patricia McConnell knows dogs. This is an excellent training guide for those who are intent on training their dogs themselves without benefit of a good class (or who can't find a decent class to attend), and it's also a great adjunct for those who are working with a trainer. The book gives you an effective, realistic six week lesson plan and timeline, and is behaviorally solid (unlike the ...

I teach an undergraduate course in critical theory. Tyson's is the single most useful introduction to that subject that I have encountered -- and I've looked at many, many introductions to theory. Tyson's book is clear and practical, setting forth the principles of each critical theory and then applying those principles in analyzing F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel, "The Great Gatsby." If I could, I ...

Great find!
I am so happy to have found this book. I have been making the quick breads for my boys (one of which is allergic to peanuts, wheat, soy, egg, and milk). I have been making the breads into mini muffins to take the place of snack crackers, etc. THey love them. I also used the zuccini brownies for their (twin boys) birthday cake. It was great. Thanks so much for sharing your recipes!

This book trains students to distinguish high-quality, well-supported arguments from arguments with little or no evidence to support them. Chapter topics include the foundations of arguments, reality and value assumptions and ethics, inductive arguments ...

A supportive reader
Let me begin by saying this book is written at a level for senior level B.S. and first year M.S. engineering (not math) students. It is the best book I've seen for introducing probability, random variables and related concepts to this student demographic (particularly to Elec. Eng. or Comp. Eng majors). It has all the introductory concepts and lays out the foundation for later subject matter in ...

Normally I don't buy a cookbook unless I know I'm going to actually make the recipes I find myself scribbling down while paging through it. I knew I'd get writer's cramp with this cookbook so I bought it! This is the 2nd Holly Clegg cookbook I've purchased -- I think they are that good.
