Civil Procedure (Casebook Series)5 reviews
Stephen C. Yeazell

Aspen Publishers, 2004

A good casebook on all points.
This was my favorite casebook of my 1L classes. I have no complaints about it. Things I like: Plain English writing style, use of modern cases (Internet, etc.), extensive use of hypos as questions after cases, thought-provoking and difficult questions - many of them with answers or hints. If you can do these, you'll be prepared for whatever issues appear on exams.

I'm Frustrated (Dealing With Feelings) (Dealing With Feelings)1 review
Elizabeth Crary

Parenting Pr, 1992

An interactive approach to learning about feelings.
A boy encounters a frusterating event (learning to roller skate and falling) and deals with his emotions. What makes this series of books different from other books about feelings is the interactive approach. Most pages end with a series of suggestions - ways to deal with emotion, such as taking deep breaths, talking to someone about the feeling, or taking a break. The reader chooses one of ...

Amy E. Sloan

Stepmotherhood: How to Survive Without Feeling Frustrated, Left Out, or Wicked, Revised Edition32 reviews
Cherie Burns

Three Rivers Press, 2001

A good read
Stepmotherhood is hard, scary and unrewarding sometimes. Burn's honest portrayal of what it is to be a stepmother, without the rose colored glasses, may be scary, but it is honest. This book made the bad seem less so and made me appreciate the good that I have in my stepfamily. Her wise words, honest situations and the real-life examples are the reality that any woman going into life as a ...

The Explosive Child: A New Approach for Understanding and Parenting Easily Frustrated, Chronically Inflexible ...155 reviews
Ross W. Greene

Harper Paperbacks, 2005

Great Book, Big Help!
I loved this book. I have to say I was skeptical at first, as I felt the author was talking down to the reader, however, I was being over sensitive. As the mother of an adhd child, often a person gets over sensitive to percieved criticism when none is really there. Anyway, this book opened a whole new view for me on my child's behavior and the basic reasons behind it. At last I saw why ...

The Frustrated Songwriter's Handbook: A Radical Guide to Cutting Loose, Overcoming Blocks, and Writing the ...12 reviews
Karl Coryat, Nicholas Dobson

Backbeat Books, 2006

This Book Has Changed My Life, Very Much for the Better!
This is one of the most inspiring, fun books I have read in a while. Well, the book is definitely well-written and entertaining--very much so! But the key is the method they explain how to do! The Immersion Music Method! It is so much fun. I did it myself a few months back, and had a blast; I couldn't even wait to get my mates involved before I started. But the other day, I got some of them ...

Father, Forgive Me for I Am Frustrated: Growing in Your Faith Even When It Isn't Easy Being Catholic7 reviews
Mitch Pacwa

Servant Publications, 1997

Real help for the battle-weary Catholic
I own a few books that I will probably keep the rest of my life, and this book is one of them. I take it out and reread parts of it every so often (I especially recommend Chapter 4, on prayer, which begins with the old saying "Whoever the devil cannot make bad, he makes busy."). The first time I saw this author was in the 1980s when he appeared on a television program debating Protestant ...

The authors, an attorney and a physician, explore the problems millions of patients face in finding definitive diagnoses for ailments that are difficult to pinpoint. Raising Children You Can Live With: A Guide for Frustrated Parents3 reviews
Jamie B. Raser

Bayou Publishing, 1999

Should be in every parent's "arsenal"
Although I usually read parenting books by Brazleton and other highly-publicized authors, a friend recommended that I try this one. I could just kiss her for that. This book isn't a summary of all the parenting advice you've ever heard (what a relief). Mr. Raser tackles issues with teens like a pro, and he would be the only person I know of that could raise a house full of teenagers and still ...
