This book is one of the best resources for Spanish
If you are looking for a source to study for the AP Spanish exam, this book covers writing and grammar skills well. In addition, the speaking portions of the book are based on those used by the AP Spanish exam. I would recommend it to anyone.

This is a pretty comprehensive Italian grammar, although the fact that there is no answer key to the review exercises keeps it from getting five stars. Be aware that the US edition of this book--which is identical to this version--is available at Amazon (under the title Nuova Grammatica Communicativa) for far less than the price of this UK edition.

Unfortunately, after explaining proper use of grammar in quite simple terms, the author gives instructions only in Italian on how to combat the excercises given at the end of each chapter. . This would be all right if the person studying this book was fluent in Italian, otherwise it gets too confusing.
