Ready-Set-Learn: Cursive Writing Practice Grd 2-3 (Ready Set Learn)5 reviews
Teacher Created Resources Staff

Teacher Created Resources, 2007

Just what we needed!
My daughter is in 4th grade and had yet to master cursive hand-writing. This little book was straight forward and practical. This book includes a reward chart and stickers. I gave her the book on the weekends and asked her to pick at least 2 pages at each session. She enjoyed the writing sessions and after ~ 6 weeks she was writing in cursive and only cursive!

Write Now: The Complete Program For Better Handwriting18 reviews
Barbara Getty, Inga Dubay

Continuing Education Press, 2005

I (!) wrote that ?!
This book really turned my handwriting around. I've been plagued by poor handwriting all my life, and though I've practiced and drilled my cursive for years, nothing seemed to make it legible. I would *often* have to re-write short one-sentence notes on PostIts several times so that they could be read. Without word processing, I would be almost completely a verbal-communication-only person. ...

Handwriting Analysis19 reviews

Newcastle Publishing Company, 1980

Most-used, best-loved handwriting analysis book I own!
Karen Amend's book on handwriting analysis is the one I use all the time. I am a hobbyist graphologist and have shelves of handwriting books. This is the one I always turn to first and recommend the most. I have put indexes on the pages so I can find stuff fast. It's just the best and easiest to use, and I nearly always find what I'm looking for in it. Get this one and you won't need any ...

Daily Handwriting Practice: Contemporary Cursive7 reviews
Evan-Moor Educational Publishers

Evan Moor, 2000

Is it Contemporary or Traditional?
I'm probably the only one who cares about this, but the image for this product is showing Traditional Cursive, but the title of the product is Contemporary Cursive. When I click to search inside, it does show Contemporary Cursive, so I'm hoping that's what I get when I order this product. Contemporary Cursive begins all letters on the baseline, which is much easier for a child to learn. But ...

3rd Grade Cursive Handwriting Practice (Practice (Scholastic))1 review

Teaching Resources, 2006

Without the Nuns you need books like this!!
I'm 50, went to a Catholic grammer school and the nuns taught me cursive and in my day you were actually graded on penmenship...things have changed so this book is a good tool for the kids today. The nuns are the better option and being graded on penmenship is important, but not today. I'm old school with a new schooled 9-year old that is left handed so hopefully this book will do the trick.

Transform Your Life Through Handwriting (Book & CD)27 reviews
Vimala Rodgers

Sounds True, Incorporated, 2009

good value
I just received the box set. I am only on day three into the 40 day process that Vimila Rodgers recommends, but think that the set will help with being mindful. Even if you do not buy into the concept of changing your life through handwriting, it can only help to spend a small amount of time each day focusing on Rodgers uplifting spiritual messages. The set is lovely quality and would make a ...

Handwriting Analysis : Putting It to Work for You54 reviews
Andrea McNichol, Jeffrey Nelson

McGraw-Hill, 1994

Out of 4 HA books, this one is still the best
I have had this books for 4-5 years now and it consistently blows me away when compared to other books on the topic. This author knows the limits of handwriting analysis and doesn't try to turn it into this generalized horoscope style garbage. This is the most realistic perspective on handwriting analysis I have found.

The Best Body Language Book: BEYOND THE BASICS
YOU CAN READ ANYONE HAS Advanced and enhanced body language techniques. If you really want to know how to read people, then this is the best book on non-verbal behavior I have ever come across.
