A Great "HOW TO" book for Dreamweaver CS3
This book has been a great help for me while switching from Frontpage to Dreamweaver. The book is very clear in illustration and detail and was useful in the immediate set up of my website. I work with all Adobe products and this was my last learning curve - made easy with this book. Thanks, R. Grant

Excellent book for Production Studio owners
This book is very clear about it's purpose - it doesn't cover the basics of working in the Production Studio, nor does it attempt to explain a lot of the in's and out's of the software. What it does do is take a lot of the most frequently used workflows and procedures and break them down into 100 "How-To" bites that are clear and concise. Sidebars abound throughout this book, and screen shots ...

An essential companion to Lightroom
I just got my copy of the book this past weekend and already it has already paid for itself! As a new photographer, familar to other Adobe products but new to Lightroom this book is perfect. I find it is easy to simply flip around to the different sections, learn something new and can begin using it right away. Plus no long winded, how-to sections that you don't need or read anyway.... Adobe ...

Great for Illustrator Newbees
Yes, as stated in other reviews, this is a book for those new to Illustrator. Simple, to the point, and clearly written, this book takes the dread and frustration out of using a program that has such an extremely steep learning curve. There is a bit of redundancy when using this book cover-to-cover, but the chapters can also be used as stand-alone reference material in such fashion.

The Perfect Way to Learn Flash!
I have been trying to learn flash for a few months now. I first used another book by Todd Perkins about flash and I found it very confusing. The tutorials and instructions it told me to follow often didn't work like I expected and I was forced to read the book page by page, paragraph by paragraph to gain any sort of understanding. On a whim, I bought THIS book to see if it was helpful at all. And ...

It's all the information I was hoping to find in other books and didn't.
Clear but concise explanations of many of the features and functions you may already be marginally aware of, but may not understand how to use. These features are generally only mentioned in other books, but are more clearly explained here. I teach the Adobe suite, and feel pretty comfortable using these applications, but most of what I know has come from books because I live in an isolated area. ...
