Excellent series
These books are just wonderful. A must have for any child that has, or wishes for a hamster... or any animal lover for that matter. A teacher let my son borrow the first in this series and that was it. We have them all. They are so cleverly written and subtly expand on a variety of situations and emotions that kids experience each day. Thanks Betty G. Birney! We love your writing style.

Friendship According to Humphrey is the BEST!!!
Friendship According to Humphrey is the sequel to the book, World According to Humphrey. This will teach you about teamwork and friendship. I give this 5 stars. This book takes place in room 26 and there is a little main hamster named Humphrey who sees the true meaning of friendship with another little main Frog named Og. This unexpected fellow goes BOING! Instead of RIBBIT! Next Humphrey meets ...

The best whale "true story."
The kind of book you think of when you're looking for a good whale story. Lots of personality and drama, and a super read-aloud for kids even as young as 4. Another fun whale story is The Whale Comedian, which is more humorous and whimsical, but, like Humphrey, shows what kids like most: how we can be friends with these exciting sea creatures.

Great book
Mr. Humphery has produced another winner. Every example is easy to relate to real world environments. The Summary and Conclusions at the end of every chapter are real jems. I have raved about the book to everyone at my company and I am trying to get sponsership from executive management for the processes defined in the book.

perfect for your 4th grader
I've been searching for books to encourage my daughter to read. She's a big animal lover, so I thought that she would certainly be interested in a book with a hamster on the cover! BINGO!! Now she wants all of the Humphrey books . . . that's why I'm here - to order the rest of them! Humphrey is too precious to pass up. I highly recommend him!

I hope this becomes a film production
Never before have I heard the Christmas story through the first person narrative of a camel, and it made for such a fun read. Carol Heyer's illustrations are so vibrant and full of life. This adds to the charm of the telling of the Birth of Christ. Humphrey's dialogue is that of a disgruntled camel who just acquired a blanket, somewhat by force. Humphrey believes that he is carrying more than his ...

Excellent
Most of the books on the modern Middle East have axes to grind, and this book, say professors Jonathan Bloom and Sheila Blair, is the notable exception. Stephen Humphreys is one the HUGE names in Islamic history, and extremely well-respected academician at the University of California. His book is readable and unbiased. It portrays an intelligent picture of that part of the world that is still ...

not 5 stars for the reason you may think...
as a post-modernist who is always asking "why?" or "who says so?" i see this text as simply brimming with possible areas for undermining aesthetics, theories, and practices in choreography... when i was an undergrad, i learned to choreograph by reading this book. essentially i learned how to make "grocery store list" dances... do i have the "proper" levels? check! do i have "interesting" ...

Connecting Mathematical Ideas book
I had to buy this book for a class in college, so I went online to find it. The book was worth the buy. It comes with a disk with examples of what is discussed in the book, and it is great for learning about the constructivist view in mathematical education. I would reccommend this to teachers looking to learn more about mathematical constructivism.

Tape Reading & Market Tactics
Humphrey B Neill

, 2008
This classic work remains the benchmark in tape reading and price and volume analysis in speculation. Historically one of the best selling titles on this topic, Tape Reading is a testament to the real genius of Neill and his grasp of human nature. A true pioneer in contrarian thinking, Neill is steadfast in his advice to break away from the unknowing and invariably unsuccessful public: "Beware of the crowd. When everyone thinks alike, watch out. ...

Six stars out of five
Although it is not possible here, I am fairly sure this book deserves such rating. This is truly remarkable work and is likely to become a classic text in the field of computer graphics. It is not a survey-type book, instead of trying to describe every possible method out there, the authors have concentrated on a few selected techniques, that are not only good (modern, fast, easy to ...

william joyce's illustrations make this one of my very favorite books: it is the book i always give as a baby shower gift. ANYONE can give "goodnight moon" but this book is special. the first 5 or 6 times i read it to my son i cried at the last line. i like how the FATHER is the one who comforts the boy (on the last page) and it is the mother who looks on lovingly. simply a wonderful, cozy ...

IMMENSELY Rewarding Purchase
This book is an essential reference for anyone with interest in doing any type of study in the history of Islam from 600-1500. Humphreys hasn't written yet another drab, stale survey book; rather, he compiled something immensely more useful. He has created a veritable inventory of scholarship, not coarsely comprehensive but pleasantly judicious, and accompanied it with a running commentary that ...
