Tears of a True Love Lost
I loved this book. Billy Jo and Buck worked so well together in the Nottawa Valley and it was so good to have Buck back as a Human again. Crimson Tears were definitely what they were and tears for a lost true love are always the deepest. The ending really made me sit up and take notice. I don't want to give anything away for those who have not read this book yet, but you have got to love ...

IMPORTANT WORK WORTH READING
This is a very important work. Capstick (Fiona) deserves to be remembered for this one. To put it simply, if you hunt and are a woman or are a man and have a woman in your life then you need this book. Cheers, Dr. Stephen W. Templar, Author: rexGun Rexgun

This book was amazing. When I was reading it I felt I was there and part of the book. It had details that I imagine would be excellent for a movie. I recommend that everyone read this book if they like science fiction and the future.

The Best of the Six Sisters
Diana, hands down, has got to be the best of the Six Sisters - and the Six Sisters the best of all Chesney's series. This sister is like a stormy "breath of fresh air" unwilling to give up the freedoms of a tomboy until she learns a lesson to break her heart, though not her spirit. The predicaments she lands herself in with much alacrity from Lord Mark Dantry, are extremely amusing and highly ...

huntress
I read 'Lawless Justice' before I found this one so.... I'm a little critical of 'Huntress'. Don't get me wrong, Karina writes a great book. 'In Times of Violence' she shows us a style that's all her own. She has a great way with the English slang that tells us her books are written with the British Motorcycle community in mind. 'Huntress' continues that style. Huntress tells the story of a young ...

Comments on Night Huntress
I have always greatly appreciated Joanna Catherine Scott's work. She balances a keen emotive intensity with an unsentimental overview. In this collection of related poems, she impacts us with vivid reminders of the precariousness and preciousness of life--leading us into a meditation on the beauty of relatedness, empathy for the suffering world--never collapsing into mawkishness. A compelling ...

A vital addition to any historical collection focusing on the roles of women in society
Women were never as homebound as history books would leave you to believe. "Daughters of Artemis: The Huntress in the Middle Ages and Renaissance" is a scholarly text that delves into history and looks at the roots of the history of women as hunters and strong independent figures in history, through prehistory and the middle ages where even in spite of a male dominated society. Richard Almond ...

Better than Twilight....and I'm a hard core Twi-fan
O.K., I'll start off saying that I didn't think I'd ever find a series as good as Twilight, but I was wrong! I am hooked on this series. I try to compare Bones to Edward, but Edward would wish he was Bones. lol Jeaniene is a great writer, she is very detailed on everything, and she really puts the scene in your head. I read 1 book of this series per day (on my 4th now), and the 5th book is coming ...

Blew me away...
FIRST DROP OF CRIMSON is the first book of a new series, Night Huntress World, by Jeaniene Frost. It's an offshoot of her first series Night Huntress. I've not read her previous books, but the passed events from those books are mentioned in this book. The author did a good job of filling in the story's background information without weighing the story down. This story focuses on Denise ...

Hunting the Huntress
Nilana has hunted alone for a long time. She is one of the strongest hunters in her pack. She is a strong woman is both her human form and when she has shape shifted and she is convinced that no man, let alone two of them, will ever be able to accept who and what she is without wanting to change her. So she has convinced herself that she will probably be alone forever. But, when another ...

Another great addition to the series...
I enjoyed this third book in the series as much as the second. The pacing was even better - action all the way. The plot was great, and the author was able to maintain tension until the final resolution. The only problem I had, and it's minor at this point (not enough to reduce it to 4 stars), is Tate's ongoing obsession with Cat and the author continually working Bone's old lovers into the ...

One Foot in the Grave
One Foot in the Grave is the brilliant sequel to Halfway to the Grave. In this novel Cat is reunited with the sexy and unresistable Bones. Cat has tried her best to live after leaving Bones, but it was nothing compared to having him back again, and he must feel the same because he is sure as hell not going to let her go this time. This series is one of my favorites and if you liked the first ...

Since Amazon didn't provide the editorial review for this book, here's the description from the back of the book to help you decide if this book is for you: "From the Colorado wilds to London's opulent ballrooms, she was Starchild -- beautiful keeper of the Shoshone flame. Starchild belonged to her people, but it was James Sinclair, the fearless wagon train scount, who had captured her proud ...

Wicked Good
Book two of the Alexa O'Brien Huntress series of books. Although the author sets the second book up so that it could be read as a stand alone, I wouldn't. You'll definitely want to get the full experience. If you haven't read book one...don't read this review, it could spoil it! Alexa is one lucky lady. Her mate, Shaz, is a sexy were. In book one she was metaphysically bonded to Arys, a sexy ...

Great story!
Tammie King (Friday, 16 May 2008) Rating: If you enjoy richly developed sci-fi characters and raw sensuality pick up Lone Huntress. AP Miller has a talent for writing wonderful descriptions and integration of characters. Lone Huntress has a rich blend of sci-fi and romantic relationships. The novel leans more towards the sci-fi side of things. AP seems to be able to write well in many ...
