This is a fun little picture book that touches the imagination of the child within us all. I have all of Rob's books and have had the pleasure of meeting him in person.

Imagine a Woman in Love with Herself: Embracing Your Wisdom and Wholeness12 reviews
Patricia Lynn Reilly, SARK

Conari Press, 1999

Struck a chord
This book really got to my core as I read it! Its not a long read and it was almost disappointing to complete it so quickly but I knew I would end up re-reading the book many times. It is a beautiful novel that often left me teary or grinning. Thank you for such a wonderful piece!

How to Re-imagine the World: A Pocket Guide for Practical Visionaries2 reviews
Anthony Weston

New Society Publishers, 2007

Doing it!
I have enjoyed this little book so much that I bought ten more of them to share with friends. I have already been playing with some of Weston's insights. When my town supervisor explained why the town would not be able to consider a proposal for low-income housing for seniors I remembered Weston's observations about windmills, and challenged right back: OK you've explained the conditions under ...

Imagine: A Vision for Christians in the Arts8 reviews
Steve Turner

InterVarsity Press, 2001

Church, get out of the box with this book!
I work with performing artists in the area of healthcare ministry, but I am not an artist myself. Thus, this book has really helped me get out of my self-inflicted box of what I thought "Christian art" and "art by Christians" should look like. The book was recommended to me by the president of the arts ministry agency I serve with, and I would be neglectful if I did not pass the recommendation ...

Imagine a Day (Byron Preiss Book)16 reviews

Another fun book by Rob Gonsalves
This is the second book by Rob that I have collected and like the first, it is fun and creative.

Just Imagine47 reviews
Susan Elizabeth Phillips

Avon, 2001

Heartwrenching, but so wonderful!
I think this is her only historical romance, but it is so awesome. The story is heartwrenching, but you are so rooting for all the characters in it that it is so heartwarming also. The love between Kit Weston and Baron Cain is believable and hot. I couldn't get enough of their story! Read this one; it's different from her other books, but the story is sweet and makes you have a good cry.

Imagine a Night10 reviews

"Imagine a night" is woderful. The pictures are incredible and take you to the path of imagination as you never have seen it before. This book is worth every penny!

Imagine: A Celebration of John Lennon80 reviews
John Lennon

Studio, 1995

Lesson in Peace and Understanding. Like living with Lennon.
This DVD is simply great, if you are even slightly interested in John Lennon. It contains so much "behind the scenes" footage, that I was very surprised that he was as accessible as he appears in this documentary. One scene shows a lost young man, who trespasses on Lennon's property in London. Mr. Lennon was kind and empathetic enough to go out and talk with the fan, and then subsequently ...

Gibbs Smith, Publisher, 2008

Awesome book
I can't believe the ideas in this book. Everything is there to help you design the page including exact size of cutting card stock. Great book when you are stuck without ideas. I would definately recommend this book.

Re-Imagine!: Business Excellence in a Disruptive Age67 reviews
Tom Peters

DK ADULT, 2006

Very Refreshing and Insightful
This is the best business book I have ever read. The writing and style of the book is very non-traditional compared to other books in this category which is refreshing and engaging all at once. Re-imagine! appealed to both my engineering and business background and has made me rethink the way I look at things and will definitely influence the way I run my company and projects in the future. ...

Imagine7 reviews
Alison Lester

Houghton Mifflin/Walter Lorraine Books, 1993

A perfect gift for young children
This beautifully illustrated book follows the adventures of two children on imaginary journeys to exotic places such as the rainforest, the ocean, the polar regions, the African savannah, etc. where they encounter the animals that live there. They even take a trip back in time, when dinosaurs & other prehistoric creatures inhabited the earth. I feel that every time we pick up this book, my ...

Re-Imagine the World: An Introduction to the Parables of Jesus4 reviews
Bernard Brandon Scott

Polebridge Press, 2001

Excellent Source
Re-Imagine the world is an excellent scholarly source on the parables and written in an easy to understand way. Scott keeps the chapters interesting, but not too long, and not confusing. It's a great book for people just beginning to read about the parables and for those who only want a brief overview. It shows many details that the common person would overlook, like Jewish law and ancient ...

Imagine That!: Activities and Adventures in Surrealism (Art Explorers)5 reviews
Joyce Raimondo

Watson-Guptill, 2004

Fun and thought-provoking!
This is a great book to get kids really looking at art and responding to it. The creative activities, with step-by-step directions and lots of examples of kids' art, are perfect for homeschoolers or anyone whose school district has cut arts funding, as well as those who just want to increase a child's exposure to and understanding of great art. (You should see my daughter's Surrealist place ...

I Can Only Imagine: Platinum Edition4 reviews
Mercy Me

Thomas Nelson, 2004

God is waiting for us all, don't miss the invitation...
This song was a giant hit when my Mother moved to Heaven. I was in Georgia helping to usher her to Heaven and I had not heard this song yet all the way through. The Friday night before Mothers day, when my Mom moved to her permanent home, Heaven, this song was playing on the radio when my dear friends were bringing me home to their house, instead of staying at my childhood home that was now ...

Imagine a Rainbow: A Child's Guide for Soothing Pain
Brenda S., Ph.D. Miles

Magination Press, 2006

When a child is in pain, imagining scenes that are soothing or uplifting may help reduce the discomfort. "Imagine a Rainbow" is a beautiful tool for introducing children to the idea of using their imaginations to cope with pain, whether by itself or as part of a more comprehensive pain management plan. The book also includes an extensive Note to Parents that explains the techniques of imagery and deep breathing, and how to help children use them.

Imagine No Superstition: The Power to Enjoy Life With No Guilt, No Shame, No Blame8 reviews
Stephen Frederick Uhl

Golden Rule Publishers, 2007

A fascinating journey from religion to secular humanism
America is a schizophrenic place. For all our love of technical wizardry and modern conveniences, we still hold on to extremely traditional morays which make us puritanical in comparison with older societies. Our moral center is formed from a number of influences, but old-time religion plays a significant role in how we embrace life, and how other societies view us. Stephen Frederick Uhl's ...

Come Together: Imagine Peace: Poems (Harmony Anthology Series)

Bottom Dog Press, 2008

From the Preface: I love the ?Precedent? poems included here, for they remind us that our work includes history and models which we can learn from and adapt to our own times. These writers all take us back through Walt Whitman to Emerson?s definition of the poet?s role: ?The poet is the sayer, the namer, and represents beauty,? and so a truthful ?naming? and ?saying? are a part of all of these beautiful poems. Denise Levertov?s poem ...

Imagine5 reviews

Candlewick, 2005

A Really Fun Book!
"Imagine," is one of the most outstanding children's books I have had the privilege to review this year. Inside the covers of this book, children will be able to interact as they imagine many different scenario's, for example; what different animals would look like with other animal heads or bottoms, and they will giggle up a storm as they give it a try. That is just the beginning of the fun as ...
