let me start by saying that i have only loosely followed the hulks career. I bought a few hulk comics her and there and always found it interesting when he would turn a new color(Grey/green) or get a new personality for an old color. but i began hearing about this book from a few friends and i decided to check it out.....and i am so glad i did! The story in this book is top notch. It really ...

What a great idea!!
This book has been very helpful with my Asperger son and my non-Asperger son. As a teachers aide, I have used it the the kids at school and some teachers have borrowed my book and are using it themselves. It has pages to copy so that you can make your own 5-point scale. Just wonderful!!!

This is such a charming book! As so many reviewers have mentioned, the visual details are amazing. Yes, the story is simple, and I think that allows us to enjoy all the extras Jeffers gives us on every page. The plot is predictable to adults, but my son was quite engaged and even a bit worried when we read "This is the worst bit." My 4-year-old loves it and my 2-year-old repeated "monumental" ...

My kids love this book!
My kids, 10 and almost 13 year old both love this book and the other kids books by Wayne Dyer. I was especially concerned that the almost 13 year old would think it was childish, but there is a deeper message that goes beyond the well versed/simple rhymes and colorful pictures. I would highly recommend this book for all ages.

Surprisingly spectacular
The last time that the Ultimate Hulk got his own mini-series, well, it never finished (still waiting for Ultimate Hulk VS Wolverine to wrap up thank you), which is why it's funny seeing the Hulk starring in another Ultimate mini-series. Ultimate Hulk VS Iron Man: Ultimate Human is a surprisingly spectacular Ultimate universe tale brought to us by none other than the great Warren Ellis. The ...

Some of the best modern Hulk stories you'll ever read
Marvel finally had the good sense to re-print two modern classic Hulk stories with Hulk: Future Imperfect and Hulk: The End; both of which are written by legendary Hulk scribe Peter David and collected here in this handsome hardcover. Future Imperfect is a two-issue smash that finds the Hulk transported to the future to duke it out with an older, stronger, and tyrannical future version of ...

This account of Shackelton's expedition to Antarctic is a read like no other. A Wonderful Journey Home
The Incredible Journey is a great and heartwarming book. It is about three animals (an old Bull Terrier, a young Labrador retriever, and a feisty Siamese cat) who set out to find their master and family. It was a dangerous but wonderful journey. This book made me feel like I was actually there in the Canadian wilderness. I think anyone who loves animals and adventure would like this book. ...

By the Zesty Zither of Zeus!
This review's title is a line that the mighty Hercules happily shouts as he does battle with the Hulk and finds it much to his liking. This huge volume of early Hulk stories is a blast. I'm not sure it would appeal to kids or people who've seen the movies and want more. But for comic readers/collectors who've always been curious to read the early Hulk stories, I highly recommend it. ...

This should be a best seller!!!
I have read a lot of gardening books, but this is one of the all time best!! It is full of facts, as opposed to general descriptions. "A full grown tomato takes a gallon of water a day." as opposed to some vague keep it well watered that you get in so many books. It is precise, without being dry. Written with a sense of humor, as well as common sense. I found a lot of very useful ...

Your Own Perfect Medicine
It really is easy to ignore the body's early warning system when you're busy and a bit run down from doing too much. To tell the truth I was pretty stressed actually. Being over sixty I've come to terms with the fact that the body is bound to have degenerated a bit so I tend to put the uprisings down to `age'. However shingles is not age related. I came home from a busy day with a bit of ...

Planet Hulk - :-) :-) :-) :-)
This book was one of the best "Hulk" stories I've read in years. Beyond great art and great dialogue, it shows a real range of thought and emotion from the hulk, much more than what's normally covered in the average comic, cartoon series, t.v. show or even feature film. It begs the question, have Hulk and Banner begun to reconcile their odd relationship? I can't wait for World War Hulk!
