A Masterpiece in Scholarship
In the preface to his "Life of Lincoln", William Herndon expounded that when writing the history of Lincoln's early life "the whole truth concerning him should be known" and there should be "nothing colored or suppressed." Having set the standard Herndon failed to follow it, for there were something's even Herndon must have felt should not be put into print. Scholars wishing to explore Lincoln's ...

Truth Really IS Stranger than Fiction
Wow. If this book were a novel, I think it might be dismissed as implausible. Yet sadly, the account of the meteoric rise and staggering demise of an executive at one of America's largest companies is all too true. The twists and turns are incredible! Very, very well written and painstakingly researched. If you are looking for a book for a hard to please fan of whodunits or suspense fiction, ...

Giving You, The Stockholder, The Business
As a 56 year old very successful business owner of 30 years, I always looked in awe at these 40 year old CEOs and CFOs of major publicly held corporations. How did these guys learn so much in such a short period of time? Are they actually that much smarter than I am? Apparently NOT! The only difference between us is that I could never match their levels of arrogance, greed, stupidity and ...
