Three Minutes From Laughter
The author describes herself as being three minutes from crazy, but that's more how the people in my office were describing ME, as I read the book on my lunch hour and howled with laughter like a cartoon lunatic. Pure fun. Even if you're not a knitter, you will still love this book. And if you ARE a knitter, you'll probably love it more, AND be able to make some really cute stuff.

Simply Amazing
I had skipped past Donald Goines name on a number of occasions but I am so glad that I gave this book a chance. This was the first book I picked up from him. From the moment I picked up the book, I did not drop it once. I could visualize the surroundings of this story, it was unbelievable. From the first 2 pages, I actually flicked through a couple of pages just to see what else would happen ...

Brilliant and subtle
I should have started reading Borges years ago. Better late than never, though. The theme of ambiguity permeates this book. It might be most blatant in 'The Form of the Sword' or 'The Garden of Forking Paths,' where a comment at the end of the story changes the meaning of all that went before. 'The Garden' also contains a symmetry of time and space, where diverging futures appear as a decision ...

Still my Favorite!
Yes out of all of his books and others this book is still one of my favorite books of all time, I can't count how many times I have read this book over and over. I think the fact that it was one of the first books I fell in love with that is why it will always remain near and dear to me. Eric is such a skillful story teller that I fall in love with his novels, he weaves humor throughout the story ...

Daughters of the Moon: Possession-Book#8; By: Lynne Ewing
Payasa Possession was an AWSOME book, like all of the other Daughter of the Moon books! It was about a girl named Serena who can read minds. All of her friends have powers too. She was running away from Jerome, a boy who has a total crush on Serena, but she tottaly hates him, and she bumps into this old lady who gives her some potion stuff. She wakes up hours later and walks home, but a ...

For what it is...
...I really enjoyed the book for an easy read that wasn't too deep. My daughter, when she was 18, brought the book home from school, and she can't get enough of it or the series of books under the Daughter's of the Moon series. I wouldn't personally recommend the book for the younger teen audience, as it deals with some more grown up situations than a 13 or 14 year old may really understand, ...

Great Book
I read this book over the week-end and loved it. stanton played a great role in this one by the way he went out and helped Catty. The story also introduced a new character but Stanton is still my favorite. The scene at the park was the best with the merry-go-round.

Fantastic
This is one of the best fiction books I have read. As an average sized person, I found this extraordinarily enlightening as to the difficulties and prejudices that little people go through each and every day. It was one of the most unique love stories ever and it really, truly made me feel the full gamut of emotions. If you buy one fiction book in your life, this is the one.

Mr. Farris does a remarkable job in making himself invisible as he projects his subject, a tall rangy cowboy from the dusty plains of Brownfield, Texas . The story's focus is on the adventures experienced and attachments formed when Hinkle begins his Hollywood career with the task of educating Rock Hudson in "Texanese" in the movie "Giant". The studio producer recognized Hinkle as the "real ...

A cop's Mom
I read this book years ago when it came out in hard back. It really helped me understand what my son was going through as a police officer. I just bought it again to give to a friend who's son is coming back from Afghanistan and wants to join LAPD, and I read it before passing it along because he says he added a few new tales. It is a fun, and fascinating book to read, and i recommend it for ...

Mr. Niven writes about his friends in Hollywood
There is another book about David Niven, titled The Other Side of the Moon. Its author is Sheridan Morley (the son of actor Robert Morely, I believe). You might want to read Mr. Morley's recitation of David Niven's life in order to get a more balanced picture. Bring on the Empty Horses is much more about the famous people with whom David Niven hobnobbed during his Hollywood career, than it is ...

One of the greatest books
This has been one of the few excellent books i have ever read. It is actually real, it really happened, so it makes you feel as if this was happining before your eyes. It was sad, and well written. i actually heard David Faber, the author of this book, speak. He was an incredibly powerful speaker, and his book places you in his position, just as his speech does.
