The Powerful Discourses of Nisargadatta Maharaj
These are among the final talks that Nisargadatta gave in the last year of his life or so. In this powerful book of Q & A between teacher and seeker we have some extremely detailed and terse teachings on the Nature of Reality. Nisargadatta's answers cut to the chase and go right to the Heart of the Absolute. One of the reasons for the sharpness of the teachings is because he is physically ...

THE WISDOM TEACHINGS OF NISARGADATTA MAHARAJ
This is a beautiful book to open at random. Each and every page is a true delight. The stunning photographs and carefully chosen aphorisms are an inspiration for anyone interested in exploring the true nature of reality. A couple of random examples: "Whatever you take yourself to be will come to an end" and "Continuously hold on to what you are and not to what you know". The book is full of such ...

AMAZING
Any true spiritual seeker cannot afford to pass this book up. Ironically, it's impossible to convey in words what it contains and why it is so valuable. It's left to each of us to find the way. Highly recommended, but bear in mind that it isn't "easy."

Beyond Consciousness
This book is a collection of some of the later question and answer sessions between Sri Nisargadatta and visitors from around the world. After finishing `I Am That' I read this book. There is a noticeable difference between the words of Nisargadatta in the two books. `I Am That' is unquestionably the better of the books, and the pinnacle of Maharaj's teachings. During His earlier days, ...

The begining of a wonderful trilogy
This book comes as the first of three books edited by Jean Dunn. The next are two books, Prior to Consciousness, and Consciousness and the Absolute. All three books are set up as interviews between seekers from all over the world asking questions to Nisargadatta about issues relating to the nature of being. profound!
As usual Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj's words are powerful and profound. This book is a great compliment to I AM THAT. What we have here is Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj giving very direct discources on apperceiving yourself as the Unborn. In this series of Q & A's Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj continually dismantles the concepts of the seekers and brings us back over and over to pointing us to our True ...

A great addition to non-duality teaching !
Essentially what this book does is break down Nisargadatta Maharaj's teachings into small bite sized fragments and analyze them backwards and forwards. Advaita (non-duality)certainly isn't the easiest thing in the world to understand, add to that some of Nisagadatta's classic hindu and sankrit terminolgies and you can get very confused at times. That's just the nature of studying a Masterpiece ...

Shedding the Illusion of the "self"
In Pointers From Nisargadatta Maharaj, devotee Ramesh Balsekar provides further insight into the teachings of what many consider a master of Advaita Vedanta. The teachings are both simple and profound -- and often full of paradox. To "understand" them requires the relinquishment of thought. To "explain" the teachings reduces them to concepts which are inherently false. That is probably why the ...

The Last Days of Nisargadatta Maharaj
I met S K Mullarpattan,in 1985 in his home in Mumbai. He left a lasting impression upon my mind. A very humble and unpretentious man, his candid gaze and smiling countenance stirred the very depths of my Being. And so when you read this book know that you are in the presence of an Enlightened Being without any flashing colourful costumes or hair do to match. It dawned on me that ...

Put simply, I love this.
I love this book. If only his main teaching were not eventually to stop reading and actually to start the deep inner search he suggests, I would happily while way the rest of my life reading it. The absolute calm certainty of his position at the very centre of the inward search, calling you on and soothing your fears, is so reassuring. Come on in, the water's lovely!
