The Practitioner's Pocket Pal: Ultra Rapid Medical Reference9 reviews
Jim Hancock

Medmaster, 2007

WOW!
There is so much info in this little book, you will not be disappointed! This looks like it will be a great reference for any medical rotation. I was very pleased to see that it had a section on how to systematically review & interpret chest x-rays. Very helpful!

Clinical Radiology Made Ridiculously Simple15 reviews
Hugue Ouellette, Patrice Tetreault

Medmaster, 2000

Excellent radiology text for med students or residents in other fields
This is one of the recommended texts for the Radiology elective in our school. It's excellent comparing to other introduction texts. I read this text and Felson; Felson is great to introduce principles of imaging, and how to read chest Xray. This text is excellent to include most important abnormal and normal findings that a medical student should know. Very readable as well.

Behavioral Medicine Made Ridiculously Simple (MedMaster Series)1 review
Frank C. Seitz

Medmaster, 1997

Excellent Text and Board Review Book!
I had the luck to take Dr. Seitz's class in behavior medicine at the University of Washington School of Medicine. His text was one of our's with Wedding also for those familiar. Anyways, his book was absolutely excellent. If was great in that it was brief and to the meat of the subject. It contained many lists and acronyms which I just can't seem to avoid in behavior science. This is a great ...

Clinical anatomy and pathophysiology for the health professional1 review
Joseph V Stewart

Medmaster, 1989

Finally - an A&P book students will read & use!
Due to a variety of departmental situations, I must continue touse one of the many "standard" (voluminous) A&P texts inmy classes (for a variety of reasons:) In reality, THIS is the book I suggest to the many students who don't have the time, or background, to read the "tomes". The diagrams are simple & easy to understand. The text/format is pure and simple - with only those concepts covered ...

Clinical Pathophysiology Made Ridiculously Simple17 reviews
Aaron Berkowitz

MedMaster Inc., 2007

Excellent review book!!!
So far this book has been an excellent review book for step 2!! It's also a great quick reference for medicine wards/clinics. It doesn't have all the details, but definitely has everything you need to jog your memory (or a good jumping point to go look at a more detailed book). It's very easy to read and the pictures really help solidify points.

Acid-Base, Fluids, and Electrolytes Made Ridiculously Simple (MedMaster Series)24 reviews
Richard Arthur Preston

Medmaster, 2002

Your Lifesaver in Fluid & Electrolytes Ocean!
I purchased this book with some doubt, because you see a very high variability in these series. Now, i am very happy. Every medical student and resident gets frustrated with fliuid and electrolytes. Reading textbooks makes it worse. I have seen a lot of attendings and Nephrologists (!!) who are scared of this subject. This book can help you tremendously. It is written in a very simple language ...

Clinical Neuroanatomy Made Ridiculously Simple (3rd Edition; Book & CD-ROM)32 reviews
Stephen Goldberg

Medmaster, 2005

As Advertised
This book is PERFECT for anyone in the medical field who wants to shave off all the fat regarding clinical neuroanatomy. This book is meant to be used as a supplemental study tool and not as a primary source for information. For those overwhelmed by the extreme detail of scientific neuroanatomy, this book gives a simplistic overview of what is critical information as well as a guide of ...

Clinical Microbiology Made Ridiculously Simple121 reviews
Nedascend, Mark Gladwin, ...

Medmaster, 2001

Great
Easy to remember mnemonics and cartoons that you will remember. I only wish I had gotten this book earlier so I had more time to use it before my micro test.

Clinical Anatomy Made Ridiculously Simple (MedMaster Series) (Medmaster Series)19 reviews
Stephen Goldberg

Medmaster, 1991

Quirky Mnemonics that Stick
I used this book when studying for my medical school gross anatomy course. When I first read over the sections I was studying in class, I thought that the mnemonic devices were somewhat silly and did not try to depend much on them. However, when I found myself in my first written and practical exams, I began reciting some of the seemingly ridiculous analogies from the book. It turned out to be an ...

Clinical Physiology Made Ridiculously Simple6 reviews
Stephen Goldberg

Medmaster, 1995

Use as directed, separate the forest from the trees!
I'm a first year Med student and have found this book to be a valuable resource. The explanations are perfect for gaining a broad understanding of often difficult subjects before diving into the textbooks and journals. The chapters about fluid/electrolyte balance and immunology are incredible, clarifying concepts that I had struggled through previously. In addition, clinical correlations augment ...

Organic Chemistry Made Ridiculously Simple (MedMaster Series 2003 Edition)5 reviews
Gene A. Davis

Medmaster, 2003

Great Overview of Organic Chemistry
"Organic Chemistry made ridiculously simple" is a great supplementary text. Its emphasis on first principles helps to establish a solid starting point for any organic chemistry student. It is direct and easy to understand with great diagrams, many examples, and occasional humor that help to introduce and emphasize various basic organic concepts. This emphasis on basic and core concepts helps ...

Medical Spanglish (MedMaster Series)3 reviews
Trudy Espinoza-Abrams

Medmaster, 1992

A Boon for Doctors and Nurses
As a physician with little or no usable Spanish I can tell you this little book is simply indispensable for any health professional who treats Hispanic patients. The author has cleverly phrased all questions so that they require only a "yes" or "no" response from the patient; moreover, she provides very accurate phonetic pronunciation guides for every single phrase, thus allowing health ...

Medical Boards Step 1 Made Ridiculously Simple9 reviews
Andreas Carl

Medmaster, 1999

Great review
Very useful for the IMGs. Contains the majority of informations necessary to pass an exams that requires lots of associations between facts that just need to be memorized. The new edition (2002) has been greatly improved, it is better than other more popular comprehensive reviews.

Stephen Goldberg

Medmaster, 1999

The four minute neurologic exam
Absolutely outstanding little book. Very easy to understand, the author did an amazing job. Most neurology books are loaded with technical wording and there usually boring. This book invites you to read and learn. Congratulations.

Medmaster, 2008

Breeze to Read
This book is a breeze to read and help you get the whole jist in order to make a generalized diagnosis when one sees a patient. It also includes the Examination techniques. But, you will still require a textbook in order to write the answers to difficult theory questions. I STRONGLY recommend this book as the BEST PRIMER to your approach to Opthalmology as it is quick reading, helps you become ...
