Want To Understand The Fashion Biz?!
"From Concept to Consumer" is the first book I recommend to people who are truly interested in the business of fashion. Even though the book is a textbook it is an easy and fast read. One of the best features of this book is the sequential order format. The author takes you step by step through the development of the fashion process BEFORE a single garment is made by briefly describing fashion ...

Read it and passed the exams!
Wow- I love the book but especially the CD. I bought the book, took a couple days to cram, practiced on the test samples, took the actual exams over three days, and passed all. Nothing can take the place of subject matter expertise, which is tough to get from one book, but this sure helped. There is NO WAY I would have passed without this as study aid.

It?s so easy to trivialize the significance of Hello Kitty?s simple iconic image. But here the authors have skillfully drafted a book that deconstructs the appeal of this cross-cultural phenomenon and the behind-the-scenes machinations of its hugely successful marketing and merchandising.

A very good introduction and view into the Fashion Business
I not only learned alot from reading this book but actually enjoyed the reading considering it's a text book. A fairly good text book
This book does give a good idea of the subject. However, I found that it is rather basic, and is suitable more as a text book, and not for the purpose that I was looking. As a person experienced in business and manufacturing, and having recently entered the retail segment, I was looking for a book that would give me more in-depth information on the subject.
