Nice Baird story
Rocco Andretti mistakenly believed that Marlene had been the late Paolo Rossi's mistress, and that she had borne Paolo a child. Rocco thought he could seduce Marlene into handing over everything Paolo had left to his son. Marlene had promised Paolo she would fight to make sure little Paul reveived his rightful inheritance. So it suited her to play up to Rocco's conviction that she was willing to ...

Cheryl St. John is a top notch writer
Cheryl St. John is a top notch writer who fills the pages of her books with genuine characters in heartwrenching situations. She puts her readers right there inside the hearts and heads of her characters, making it impossible not to care what happens to them. The Mistaken Widow was a joy to read. Watching these two people fall in love, in spite of the odds against them, renewed my own faith ...

We read this every night!
My 2.5 year old daughter received this book as a gift and we have never read the first one. The story is wonderful, funny and cute and the illustrations are a very creative mix with real photography. My daughter has this book memorized now and reads it to me which is priceless. I'm getting her the first one for her 3rd birthday and I'm sure it will be a great addition to our home library.

Better than some others
By coincidence I got another book by Ms. Way-- I get these from the 50 cent section at Half Price books or from the library. This showed some development on the part of the author. Her characters in this novel were more compelling and the plot more intricate. The secondary characters were appropriately placed and added to the story. There were still lengthy description throughout the book that ...

Why the Controversy?
Looking at the reviews it's obvious that this book is a "love it or a hate it." If you are not a Christian you will probably hate this book. Many profess Christianity, but still have a humanistic world-view rather than a Scriptural one and those readers will certainly be offended as well. Humanists are blind to what the Bible has to say about the nature of man. "For the time is coming ...

Pat Brooks tackles this explosive subject with her customary zeal and incisiveness-presenting an excellent overview which sorts out facts from fantasy, reality from blatant propoganda. Murray writes like he talks....
...and that's a good thing! This book is for all of us who miss his charismatic, knowledgable and breathless commentary of all things motorsport, but particularly Formula One. A national institution in Britain, Murray Walker was the voice of Formula One first on the BBC and later on ITV, and the sale of television feed globally made him known throughout the world. When he retired at the US Grand ...

C.J. Domino did an exceptional job on her debut novel, "Sideline Ho". The characters were well developed and very easy to relate to. When you pick up this book you will not be able to put it down. Nice bit of Fluff
There is nothing heavy in this little romance so it is perfect for a quick escape at the beach. It has those fun elements: A handsome Viscount, an outspoken grandmother, a heroine who is the poor relation with an evil aunt and wicked cousin. The writing was smooth and the characters well developed. One bit of outrageous drama didn't really hurt the enjoyment.

It is difficult enough for the average person in this life to figure out who he/she is--his/her relation to God, the universe, etc. But rarely has anyone faced a more angst-ridden confusion over identity than Steve Hammond. This is a unique story of gender confusion that lasted 25 years. And when the question was finally decided, inter-personal problems then plagued the writer. Hammond also ...
