The Cheapskate Next Door: The Surprising Secrets of Americans Living Happily Below Their Means

Great Read!
This book is proof that not everyone has to live the way advertisements and media say we should but still be very happy and live a full life within their means. The author's quick writing style and witty sense of humor keeps the flow of the book going. I like the "cheap shots" located through out the book. As a frugal person myself for many years, I took away a few new pointers in the shots. This ...
Art of Money Getting Or, Golden Rules for Making Money

interesting book with good advice for about finances and life
We all know PT Barnum for this circus. What we don't know is the man behind the circus. This book shares some insight into that. There is a lot more depth than you'd expect. He is more than "a sucker is born every minute" (which he didn't even say, by the way). What you get here is his philosophy of work, money, and life. Good advice you may have heard before but interesting in this ...

Very easy read, great info
I am not a big fan of reading, but I breezed through this book in a few days. It was a very easy read and included great information. The information may not be ground breaking or new to most, but it is delivered with practicle examples. This is a great book to get you thinking more about yourself, your life, and your future.

Great Book
This book was clear and straight to the point. I read it in 24 hours. I was immediately motivated to get started. I've explained it to my husband and he is on board. Very commonsense-type of advice, but it's good to see it listed in step form. Most of us know what to do, but not how to do it or what order to do it in. Very good.

Wonderful trading insight
If you have read books like "stock Market wizard" and still feel that you don't have good idea how those people made so much money, this book is for you. Initially, I thought this book was just another hedge fund book without much substance. However, the author beautifully explains the trading methodologies of these star traders(and also their misses)- I was blown away. The author's insight into ...

A must have for any serious investor
This book is a must have for anyone who has invested in the stock market or is thinking about it. The advices in this book are so simple and logical, yet so difficult to follow in practice because you get caught in the market psychology. I'm sure if everyone followed this book wholeheartedly we would all be richer and we would not see things like the dotcom bubble or the current financial crisis. ...

Excellent book - funny!
Read this book in 1 1/2 days - could not put it down. Very funny - I highly recommend. I am hooked on this series. Already read 2 and 3. I'm ready for the 4th in the series. Lots of suspense, action, humor, and even some romance. Light reading. Take a break from the routines and work - relax with a Stephanie Plum novel. You'll be hooked!

Good book
I learned a lot of information that I will use. I wish he had used more charts but he explained things in a very understandable way. I bought it mainly for the 2 options chapters. That alone was worth the price of the book.

One of the best books on starting and keeping a business
I've worked in start-ups and small cap business environments for over 20 years. Gerber has captured the essence of why so many organizations fail; especially in there early years. This is a must read if you plan on starting a business of any type! You should also take the Kolbe A index test to see where you fit in terms of how you execute plans.

Great for small group discussions
This is the kind of book which makes you desire to find other like-minded friends to discuss the points that Keller makes. When brought to the light, these points are glaringly obvious, like the "emporer not being clothed". The book prompts self-examination and reminds us that to make romantic love, or money, or possesions, or popularity, or power, or personal accomplishments the MOST IMPORTANT ...

Continuing my Financial Literacy Education
I haven't started reading this book, but every book I have read by Rober Kiyosaki has been awesome. I have the book in my possession, but I'm finishing up another book by him first. I will post more of an actual review when I have read the other one, for now you'll have to keep waiting. -=80)

Can't Put Them Down
I purchased 3 box sets of the Stephanie Plum series volumns 1 thru 9. I could not put them down once I opened the book. Janet Evanovich keeps the words flowing and the humor coming. Granma is my favorite character. Everyone should have a character like her in their lives. I would recommend this series to anyone who loves to laugh.

Not what I expected
I read the book. It was good. Not something that I had expected from it, but I guess the title says it..it takes place sometime ago where words are used in a Biblical sense. But it gives good ideas about what you need to do to get "rich" or gain wealth. Spend nine-tenths, save, loan to accumulate or something like that. I sorta forget. It's an easy read too. There's no homework to it either. Just ...

excellent a must read
I followed Mr Ramsay's advice to get rid of credit cards completely. The piece of mind alone is worth it. It took some time but we have had no credit cards for 1 year now. We are now paying down my wife's car and then will move on to double payments on the mortgage. I would highly recommend you get this book.

Not to be read with rose-colored glasses!
Although there have been other books written about the break-up of The Fab Four and its aftermath, this is one of the best that I've read. Beginning with the death of John Lennon, the narrative reverts back to the events leading up to the eventual break-up and then continues in roughly chronological fashion up to the present time. Although the book details the various legal disputes that took ...

There's a reason I'm buying more than one copy...
Say goodbye to the boring books of "here's what you SHOULD do." The Insider Secrets is the real true tales from the trenches of what some of the nation's top experts DID do and how they got money to grow their business and how you can get money to grow yours, too. I especially liked the interview style and specific tips that were shared. The resources were invaluable as well and I'm already ...

Great read! Very enjoyable and life-inspiring.
This book is one of a kind! I tried not reading it all at once, but it was very tempting. This book reminds us of the simple things that are basically 'awesome' that we sometimes forget or don't even consider. It is definitely a book I would recommend.
