No One Sees God by M. Novak
I have admired Michael Novak's philosophical insights since the original publication of "The Experience of Nothingness" almost 40 years ago. His latest work, "No One Sees God" excels all of his previous works. "N.O.S.G" is so well structured and logical in its reasoning that the atheist authors Novak confronts should either elevate their future writing to Novak's level or keep silent from now ...

could not put down
Her stories follow a similar line, but she keeps the main 2 characters together consistently, which keeps the story and the romance moving. I did not find this heroine's past relationship depressing like other reviewers. This book is wonderful, and I have now bought all of her books.

Excellent!
This book is excellent--I love Ruth Bell Graham. The illustrations are wonderful and my 6 year old daughter loves it. I will certainly buy more copies of this book for gifts. It reflects the imtimate knowledge that Mrs. Graham had about the Bible and is a wonderfully written story. It is a great book to purchase for Christmas. Truly it is the best story ever told.

Done and STILL can't put it down...
Holy moley does this sequel pack a punch! Halfway to the Grave was easily readable due to the characters and how their chemistry unfolded in an action packed plot. It's always interesting to read sequels and see which path they take, and this one packed a punch for me. Slightly darker, more character development & a love scene that leaves you shakin... this book did not disappoint! All tied to an ...

One Day My Soul Just Opened Up
This book is meant to be read in 40 days. There is a lesson per day. I found the book enjoyable and enlightening. It is very difficult not to read ahead. It is written in a light-hearted way with many personal experiences by the author. There is a lesson for everyone in this book. Another suggested read is Anatomy of the Spirit.

Another woman brutally murdered, but husband cop has alibi
I could not put this down. It is unnerving the twists and turns of this real case in Indiana and on some level, it looks like the suspect/husband (of course) has an almost perfect alibis. But who else could have done it? Who else would have wanted to do it? What this case really shows is how much depends on the justice system. I mean, how much depends on who the prosecutors were, how well ...

Ultimate Fairy Tales
"Arabian Nights" is one of those works that everyone has heard of, but not many have actually read. Hence I decided to actually read it, instead of guessing the stories of Ali Baba or Abu Kasim. I am glad that I did. "Arabian Nights" are well deserving their reputation as one of the best collections of fairy tales anywhere. Interwoven and connected by the young Queen wanting to stay alive, ...

Universal, Timeless Storytelling
The Arabian Nights: Tales from A Thousand and One Nights -translated by Sir Richard F. Burton Though the collection is incomplete (this edition contains only the "most famous and representative" tales from the entirety), the compendium outshines any expectation or foreknowledge of the stories and is choc with the marvelous wit of ancient Arabian storytelling. The stories have an underbidding ...

Fantastic Tales
This book is a selection of the choicest tales from the Thousand and One Nights. The translator, N.J. Dawood, also translated the Koran for the Penguin Classics series. Dawood explains in the introduction that the first of these tales appeared in a written form around 850 C.E., in a book called, "A Thousand Legends." More tales, of lesser quality, were added over the years until an anonymous ...
