You've got to be joking
Let me get this straight. These jokers cut & paste and reformatted some Wikipedia articles, published them in a 120 page book that they're selling for $56, presumably in the hopes that there are people out there sufficiently knowledgeable to care about the internals of openSSL but who don't know that Wikipedia is a free online resource? Surely this must be a joke.

I purchased this book in an effort to quickly get up speed with creating self-signed certificates for both client and server. I was able to use examples in this book to do so. I found the examples I needed, executed them as specified in the book and was able to create working self-signed certificates. So for the usage model that I had for this book, it delivered.

Lots of Java: advanced book
This book is not for beginners. Good on examples, and covers Java security libraries. As text, the review questions are reasonable too. (you may think this is trivial, but if you have to answer them, you may know how annoying it is when question are not clear, or worse not addressed in the text at all). I personally think, you should read general cryptography text before reading this text, ...
