Great All-Around Treehouse Guide
Help me out greatly. I am below novice in construction knowledge. The book explained, diagramed, and visualized lots of great methods and ideas for building treehouses. I find myself going back to it again and again for efficient methods of accomplishing the task at hand.

A modern guide to classic outdoor structures. Sheds and other landscape shelters have never been out of style, but they are now seeing a remarkable surge in popularity, and are being used in creative new ways. The common garden shed is now just as likely to serve as a workshop for an artist to pursue his or her hobby; or may be used as a writerĘs retreat; or may even be equipped with a satellite dish, high definition television, recliners, and ...

Detailed enough that anyone can build them
In an unusual departure from books of this type the first thirteen pages discuss what children like to do, the type of play different ages are interested in, and how to match an appropriate play area to the child. With that foundation firmly laid, "The Backyard Playground: Recreational Landscapes & Play Structures" then proceeds Landscaping for Playgrounds, Large Play Projects, and Small Play ...

Maisy's Big Flap Book
All the children I work with love this book(pre-school age). They are engaged for extended periods of time in pretend play. Also a wonderful educational tool in which to elicit important vocabulary. A key book(toy) to that should be in every a child's home.

Entertaining, thought-provoking, and powerful
Every once in a while I come across a novel with characters and images so vivid that they haunt me even when I'm not reading and linger even after I finish the last page. "In War Times" is that kind of novel. This is a book that works on many levels--as a science fiction thriller and a beautifully written, metaphysical literary novel. It is also a time travel story and a World War II ...

Good for play houses, but not for swing sets, etc.
This book has great plans for building forts,play-houses, but it does not have much in the way of swings. If you want a swing set play area, better find another book.

a great picture book for young kids
My 2 year old loves looking at this book. She seems fascinated at seeing herself dressed as a bee, a flower, etc. This is one of our favorite books. I think everyone would love this little book.

Picture Me With My Friend Jesus
Stumped on what to buy for a child's birthday party, I turned to the idea of a book, because the child's family strongly encourages him to read and has an extensive library full of children's books. They are also a very Christian family, encouraging their son to learn about the religion. This book was ideal, because it was unlike any book he owned, incorporating his own image into the story. By ...

Excellent and moving play
We're just finishing a production of this play and I can tell you first hand what a joy this play has been for us. It is a moving, funny, profound, scary, and uplifting tale of the first actresses on the English stage in the 1660s. Humorous and tragic, this play contains some of the most powerful scenes I've encountered in a very long time. Read it, see it, do it. You won't be disappointed.

A book your kids will go back to time and time again.
As a mother of three and a a daycare provider I highly recommend this "get up and build" book. The ideas for fort building will spark your childs imagination and they'll go back time and again to look for ideas for indoor and outdoor forts. This book can save a mom on a snow day- as long as you don't mind what will be created!

Lots of Great Pictures
I bought every book I could find on the subject (four) and this was the most extensive, both in terms of plans (there are projects that are spelled out step-by-step as well as blueprints for others) and projects and lots and lots of colorful pictures. I'm really into the decorating, so there were lots of cool ideas for color themes and furnishings and such. Some of the pictures were kind of ...
