on point
Im a PA and during my PA school I did a rotation in Trauma and Emergency Med at Mass Gen, where a lot of the writers of this book practice. I found that the information in this book was pretty much on point and provided a quick and general reference to a lot of the things you see in the ER. I studied this book and got all my pimp questions right!

EKG book
WOW! This is the best ever. I am a cardiac nurse and am now teaching nurses about the heart and heart rhythms. This book "dumbs it down" enough to be understandable, yet not insulting. The humor in it is sometimes a little odd but actually adds to the charm of the book. I am rec. that my entire class buy the book. It really explains the basis for many of the more complex arrhythmias and is ...

Easily Understood
I was issued these books as part of my paramedic program. I haven't looked at any other books of this type, but I will say that the way the author lays out the different rythms and covers them in such a way, that it makes it easy for the beginner student to understand. The pocket reference is great and is small enough to carry with you for fast reference. Highly recommended. The helpful ...

Great small-sized survival kit guide
"Emergency Survival: A Pocket Guide" has become the gold standard for small-sized survival kits. About 45 pages are devoted to getting the job done and coming out of the wilderness alive. The inclusion of basic first aid trauma information is a bonus. The only improvements I would make would be to print on water-proofed paper and include a few basic knots for fishing and shelter building. ...
